Default A New Tarot Project

I've decided to post this here because I wanted to try it, and see how it helps my readings. It may help someone else here too. I'm fairly new with tarot still, and I'm getting to the point that the book and quick reference cards for the cards are really limiting my readings. What I've decided to do, is organize my deck starting wit the major arcana. Then I want to go through all of the cards and compare the deck book's methods of reading the cards to the normal reading for those individual cards. Then I'll meld the two and try to make my own reading method. I'm hoping that this helps me to become a better reader of the cards.

Thank you. I'm going to do this with my current deck, and then I'm going to eventually purchase a waite deck as well and do this same thing. I like my deck, but I believe that I could use a different deck for different readings. My deck now is very good if the readings have direct inference to emotions or personal readings. What I've been finding hard to do is read others through it, so I'm going to look into the Waite deck for that.

You can well make your own translations to the cards meanings by yourself. Don't forget that each deck has it's own unique drawings on it. By looking at it, you can realize the symbols used for this card, and understand the meaning simply from that. I use it sometimes when I'm not satisfied with the book meanings. The Waite deck is excellent for this kind of interpretations, give it a try! :]
