easy entity creation: an expantion on the DPS meathod

Okay, for those of you who don't know a DPS is a Dogmatically Programed Servitor, which is a servitor that can change its purpose. The method for creating such a servitor is posted in karen's 'Success With Servitors' post but i'll outline it here.

Procure a pencil and a peice of paper
Write down every facet and function of you servitor
Create sigil on page
charge sigil
when you want to change the entity, siply edit the paper and recharge the sigil... easy as 123


Now my new method for creating an easy self sustaining servitor base on this method.

Procure a piece of paper and a pencil
Write down the entity's forms, colors, and whatever else
State the energy source as chaos its self
The entity's personality is to love to do any task set before it
Its purpose is to do an task asked of it
Its method of creation is to stare at the sigil for 1 minute

There now there is no need for editing and recharging, just call up the entity like you would any other spirit and ORDER it to do something, as opposed to using it like a living sigil. It's like a personal demon but without any emotional problems, and it's self sustaining so there's no need to feed it.

When i stared at my sigil I felt it pull at me and my vision started to tunnel, I haven't really summoned it except for a minor attempt right after the creation(i felt a sort of semi-precense but nothing more) so I'll let you know how it turns out.

thanks odin! I have made mine and i can feel his presence when i call, I tend to hear magick as opposed to seeing it, but i can't tell whether he's doing his tasks....

Well, I tried a simple evocation today after empowering him, and he(i really should say it, because it can assume anyform) seemed to work very well.

First of all, my skills of perception suck. bad. So please take this in that context.

When I last evoked him just a few seconds after his creation, he seemed weak, barley even present, so today I evoked him again. I could feel the precence barely. i didn't even hear anything, which is odd because even casting a circle causes a high buzzing sensation in my ears. Eventually i heard a small whine for the breifest of moments. After dismissal I pondered what to do, and eventually i just made an energetic knife and cut a whole into thin air, letting chaos spill forth. I then used the energy of the knife to make a chaosphere(essentialy this keeps the portal open). I reenvoked him and let him feed on the energy spilling forth. In my minds eye(imagination) I saw him take many, many forms, and i could almost feel him as he turned into a dog and ran up to me. I just reenvoked him(with my eyes open) and asked him to appear in the form of a cat. Immediatly the air where he was evoked distorted into something with a long feline tail.

I guess these kinds of servitors must be literally feed chaos.
