To me a luciferian is a belief system that venerates the essential characteristics that are affixed to Lucifer. Lucifer is the light bearer aspect of Satan but some argue that He is a seperate entity from Satan. He was the first angel created and He is associated with the planet Venus. He is the Light Bearer, the bringer of enlightement and wisdom.
He is the morning star, son of the Dawn and the most beautifull of all the angels. He is Lord and ruler of this world and He can be seen as asymbol of humanity and a never ending quest of wisdom.

LUCIFERIAN WITCHCRAFT - The Original Left Hand Path Shop! (http://www.luciferianwitchcraft.com/)
if you are interested in this sort of thing, this is the place. It is Micheal Ford's website and the books section has some really great books with vast stores of dark knowledge.
of the two books I own, liber HVHI and primal sorcery, they have both proven to be very useful and are just differant pieces of the whole framework of lucifarian witchcraft books sold there. HVHI has the darkside of virtually every magical system there is. astrology ,chakras, and kaballah. They are based on a form of Persian black magic, and the primal sorcery book stood very true to the arabic tradition, with necronomicon like sigils, and visionary and ritual techniques, and a very great invocation at the end on immortality, while HVHI comes off more as a scholarly text, dark magical systems galore.
these are powerful and dangerous books, but are vitally necessary in many respects and at times can be a last refuge, beyond being a primary source of inspiration. As with anything in this world, it is good to know what you are doing, especially with things like this. The book of results is a good book to have, i'm not sure if they sells it on there, but it can be a good companion book to HVHI.

Try to locate a copy of Clavicula Nox II: Lucifer, a magazine-type collection of essays from various authors released by Ixaxaar Occult Literature. Also by Ixaxaar, check out Kosmology, a book of Luciferian Philosophy.

Well, I see that you are still offering the highest quality of responses... Though time may rob us of daily conversation, your posts still fill me with a satisfaction only a true mover and shaker, such as yourself, could summon.

Sound advice, as always.

Lucifer was a babylonian king crucifed up-side-down most probably by the romans as they were known to practice this form of torture.
