Sprit Guides
Last night I was reading a book on talking to spirits before I went to bed.
It's mostly the usual fare. "Everything is white light happy feelings and they just want to love you." The exercises are fairly boring as well. They usually follow the same step by step instructions that most other books of this sort do.
1. Clear your mind and pray to God for the highest white light experience.
2. Relax in a peaceful garden full of love fairies who give hugs out
3. Ask your spirit guide to come hang out
4. They will.
5. Wake up slowly from the happy peaceful love hug mushy love garden.
As gay as it is, it might work. However, I don't dig happy love gardens, not that much anyways. I would rather meet my spirit guide in some spooky moonlight woods, a cemetery, a dirty alley way, something a bit more exciting.
So before I went to sleep, I rocked some sorcery and told my spirit guide to meet up with me in my dreams. I also told them to let me know it was them and that it would be the only dream I recalled.
This is the only dream I recalled.
I was in an apartment. Someone I was with was missing so I went to the mens room to look for them. I took a leak in a stall and when I came out there were three black guys in there. I knew they were in a gang. We talked for a minute and I asked them if they had seen the person I was looking for. They said no, but I knew they had him and would kill him and then me.
We all left the bathroom talking about something but I slipped away as soon as I could. I sneaked out of the apartment and down some stairs. The place was a giant casino and the apartment I was in was at the top floor. I knew this was a crime lords domain, the owner of the apartment was king of this place.
I got close to the exit but it was guarded. A security guard came up to me and started to question me. I grabbed his gun and killed him then ran out towards the doors. I got in a big gun fight with a few guys but escaped injury free.
When I got out I found it was post apocalyptic outside. Everything was dirty and ruined. There was a city there but now it was mostly twisted metal and shanty town. It was night.
So I ran around and found a truck. I got in a took it. I stopped at a stoplight and there were some guys there. I told them I wanted to storm the casino and save the guy I was with. They thought I was crazy, no one had done it before but the promise of that much money was enough.
These guys were stupid. The one was trying to figure out how to use an AK-47 by looking down the barrel. I took it away from him and gave him a stick. We had a pick-up truck with about five guys in it. We had to stop at a store though first and that's what we did.
We got there but they were closed. We went in anyways.
It was some gun store disguised as a paintball shop. We picked a few things up and walked outside. The monstrously huge casino was right there. We walked across the road to the fence that surrounded the place. It was covered in barbed wire everywhere so access would be impossible that way.
It was at this point my companions left me. I turned around though and I was greeted by Conan the Barbarian, Akiro the wizard, Valeria, and his thief buddy Malak. We decided to look for another way in.
We found it in the form of a garage they used that was left mostly undefended. Sneaking in through the front doors, we thought we could make it all the way to the casino without being caught. But we got to a second level of the garage and were found.
Guys started pouring in, they were wearing black motorcycle outfits that were torn up and straight out of mad max. They came at us but Conan was slashing them in half and at one point I believe he tore a man in half with his hands. Akiro was shooting glowing yellow spirits at people that tore away their souls and killed them. Valeria and Malak were doing something too, but it was hard to focus on them as Conan and Akiro were tearing it up and I was busy shooting guys.
We fought our way through a bunch of enemies and came to a door. But a female appeared in the door and blocked our way. Conan went to blow her up but Akiro told him to stop. He said she was a wizard and only a wizard should kill another wizard.
They got into a fight and it was awesome. They were both summoning spirits and a huge ghost war broke out. His were golden and hers were green. They fought like that for a while but Akiro rocked it harder and killed her with a suprise lightning bolt. Awesome.
Then I woke up.
So my spirit guide is the wizard from Conan, Akiro. The rest of the gang are too, but he is the lead one. I'm pretty sure thats way more than I could have hoped for. Maybe he can teach me how to draw on a dead guy and the hide in a hut when ghosts come to take his soul.
I encourage you all to get out there and see who you have guiding you!
