Sigil Magick

I have been reading that Sigil Magick is one of the simplest forms of magick to get introduced into. Does anyone have any direct experience in this, I have searched some of the forums here, but am reletivly new to computers in general. I may have overlooked them. Specifically what I am looking for is what writing tools people find the most useful in this form of magick. I have read that even stick and sand will work.

The thing is even though, Sigil Magic is easy to learn and use but, one should work through the basics and have a good understanding of what is going on before using them! Know thy self first and, as they say knowledge is power!;)

SIGILS and CONSPIRACY

Interesting concept, sigils. When young and stupid, and largely because of those I associated with, I could execute a sigil in the air between myself and some poor schmuck and cripple them. Actually put them in a loony bin. It was the trappings and the belief system of the schmuck. Had some we called Earthshoe occultists who would stammer and quake as we entered the room back in those days. Had one actually piss his pants. Sad, really, how faith cripples a man.

Yet, I am a jeweler. A master engraver ~ not an easy thing to become. Sigils hold some sway over my own view of things and I have always played with them. I have engraved for some fifty years ~ sense the age of ten. We do begin to see a magical world about what we do on the surface of so much metal and stone. The designs we wrought have power. So much torque make for lots of butterfly wings in any chaos scenario.

As is often the case, as engraver I was drawn to engineering. Became a robotics engineer. At trade shows, I had the opportunity to play with things like laser prototyping devices and plasma laser cutters. Very interesting stuff. Laser prototyping is done with plastics suspended in solution that are solidified by intersecting lasers. Very intricate formations are possible, one inside the other. Spent hours just solidifying cosmological models as fast as my little pea head could envision them. There is a Majik in immediate materialization from idea ~ no matter how complex. This structures are very fragile, the plastic being a low grade styrene but quite suitable for lost material molding by removing the plastic with a acetone vapor.

Another toy that fascinated me, most especially in relation to sigils, was the plasma cutters. Imagine, if a knowingly drawn sigil in soft material under ordinary circumstances can have butterfly effect, how much more that effect when light cuts through seven inch thick hardened steel. But that is old hat. I am sure you have all done that much. What am I leading up to???

A NEW WAY COMES. I will mention from time to time CONPIRACY. It will take a spell to explain all the finer details but in a nut shell ~ CONPIRACY is 3D. 3D everything. And it is a full blown conspiracy with virtually everyone who is anyone in power plotting to implement it. Microsoft is involved, as is Google. If you think all they are doing is Virtual Earths, think again. Google SketchUp 7 is only a hint. Wait until you see the monster that Microsoft is going to spring on the world when they fully integrate trueSpace with Visual Studio which already now includes Robotics Studio.

It will soon be possible to create your own realms about as easily as sketching with a pencil ~ easier; fit them into greater ether web realms as big and detailed as the real world; and launch a real line of jewelry (just as example), based on your realm, at locations around the real world to form a…
