finding Nyoggtha

Earlier I made a thread about the possible existence of predator/ scavenger critters that live below the earth's crust and feed on lost souls. Some people suggested I go down into the molten earth and find out. Well, I'm not about to do that and I don't go astral anyway, but I am interested in perhapse contacting, invoking, or otherwise finding out if these critters exist. my method of summoning would usually be through poetry (Ranna), but since we may be dealing with actual living things independent of humans, I wonder how I should actually do this...

These scavenger beings you speak of sound very much like the DEROs of the shaver mystery stories and Jules Verns original movie the time machine.

Inside the earth are many types of beings which are quite dangerous to be involved with. The souls of the Nephilim are one such group, as are the Deros, and certain deformed Alien species. somje are starl in form and eat anything they can find as food is in short supply. The deros are4 canibalistic and feed on the living and the dead. The are a degenerate race of humans which went under the earth prior to the flood of Noah in order to escape the deluge. many became lost inside the earth, became lost and never resurfaced, but degenerated into a sub human beastlike species.

The Tibetians Buddhists are in contact with "The King of the World" who dwells inside the earth, in the abyss. He being human and the coming Antichrist Beast, is also known as "Brahytma" or "Rigdem Jye-po".
His priestly assistants are called 'The Goro".

They all live in the subteranean vault of Shamballa. The word "kalagiva" is what you need to use to summon such an individual for communication. No need for sany ritual. This one is believed to be very favourable toward surface humans BUT in reality is affilated with The Great Old Ones as one of their allies. I cannot say whether communication with just anybody will be forth coming but it's worth a try. I have been successful when I have tried.

well, these are not mutants like the derro, they are big amorphous spiritual beings. i asked a friend of mine about it and she said not to "invite anything you dont know about" and that i was in for a very unpleasant experience if i did. she also said that i would be of particular interest because they could use me as a channel. anyway, what does the word "kalagiva" mean? just like in intercourse, it is wise to use protection, so if i do this i will use some.

ok, i did a little ritual yesterday to invoke him (with protection, of course). and so far have not noticed much to speak of. the energy in a room downstairs changed somehow last night, but other than that there was nothing relevant. we'll see what happens.

ok. i got this one impression that sometimes nyoggtha doesn't kill his prey but absorbs them and takes away their fiery pain, letting them live inside him. where this came from or if it's valid i don't know.

If you must risk contact such without any knowledge of them, try useing the pentagram with an eye in its centre and summon the power of Enki "the master of magicians to offer his protection under the laws of the great covenant" and see what response you get. If you are into magick use a charged TRIDENT to keep them at bay.

I did a quick search on google for Nyoggtha and have pasted the section below. You will need a trident for this creature. I am not convinced the looped cross or Egyptian ANK will be powerful enough to hold back such a creature, hence I say use a Trident. If you recieved this creature in a dream I would not be surprised, since the Old Ones commune through dreams.

Nyogtha

Nyogtha (the Thing That Should Not Be) appears in Henry Kuttner's short story "The Salem Horror" (1937). According to the story, the Necronomicon refers to Nyogtha as "the Dweller in Darkness"--an epithet used by August Derleth in the story of the same name to refer to Nyarlathotep; thus, it may be that Nythoga is yet another of Nyarlathotep's nigh-endless avatars. Nyogtha appears as a shapeless, dark mass.

In his short story "Path of Corruption," Steve Berman has a group of New Orleans-based hustlers worshipping Nyogtha.

I allready tried. It is my oppinion that if a simple ritual doesn't suffice, the being is probably not interested enough.

Or you are going about the ritual the wrong way ?

If he is one of the Old Ones as I suspect, certain times need to be observed in order to open the gates - particuarly with relevance to those dwelling outside this Universe.

In the case of Nyoggtha, living under the earth, I am not suggesting there is a gate 'per say' holding him back, but he may be restrained in some other way from escape; just as Satan and his demons are held in the prison of Tatarus - it too being a restrainment hold under the earth. All forms of Restraisnt will have a Key, or words of Power, to unlock their binding hold.
I would check with the Elder gods on this first and see what they can tell you - not that they would approve. I would suggest Enki, or Marduk as the most likely to ask.

Another sign to watch for is 'the sword in the sky' which appears when one of the old ones escapes into the earth. The clouds in the sky will form 'a sword' as an omen of death.

Only a strong and competant magician will be able to restrain and hold them back once released. Restraining is much harder than releasing, so you had better understand what you are actually doing on this one.

Realistically - Maybe restraint is not a bad thing, because the little I know of others who have tried to summon the Old Ones, many have met with an unnatural fate OR got no result.

Maybe I should try someone more cosmic like Shub Niggurath. Perhapse she will drive a special friend to lust me. That would be more desirable than risking your soul being eaten!

I made communication contact with Nyoggtha and found out it is much as expected. It lives under the earth and has been restrained from entering to the surface world; though it was Watchers who did the restraining and not the Elder gods. It also does not know what the words of power are to release it otherwise I would be able to tell you - if your careless enough to use them. It also tells me it will attack any who summon it unless they are allies with the Ancient Ones. It also says you cannot hold it back with a sword, or Ank, or any of the normal wiccan tools, but you will have to have a trident ! This being so - I say why bother ?

So why do you want to be lusted after - want is you point with all of this ?

If I am correct in my theory - why don't you just hook up with some sleazy succubus, or vampire goth, or disincarnate prostitute who wants to latch onto someone and stay earthbound; as they are much easier to find. If its just lust your after, it would be a lot easier to find a sex buddy.

Hahahaha, yes your'e right I am a "starving artist" in a group home and by the way the shub niggurath invocation was intended for one of my friends that I really like.
