I work with many crystals my self I have 11 of them so far. They all help me in there own little way and some times ways that go unnotice. I know little of crystals I hardly work with mines and I want to be able to work them into my life daily. Not to a point were I work them into my life daily were I can't stop working with them or rely on them to much, lol:D The Crystals that I have at the moment are:

Agate
Unkite
fluorite
Angelite "Angel Stone"
Amethyst
magnetite
Sun Stone
Black Onyx
Clear Quartz Crystal
Jorge Clear Quartz Crystal

I have this other crystal its blue in color and has spots its either

The one I work with the most is my Clear Quartz crystal just because you can basically do any feature with it or apply it to any thing. But with other crystals your limited to what they can do or if you try to make a crystal do what it can't originally do then something will happen. I have this amazing "Sphere Angelite" that I really want to work with, but I don't know how to work with it. It is said that I can bring angelic energies down to me, help me get to the angelic realm(s), astral project, Cummonicate with the Angels via telepathy or any other exiting thing, and help me to talk with my spirit guides and other guides. How do I get the Angelite Sphere to do this stuff for me?

Lapiz luzi or blue lace

Just because you went and bought a stone doesn't mean the stone will do all these things for you. The best thing to do is just to appreciate the stones for their beauty and be open to whatever comes to you. That worked the best for me. Perhapse you will find yourself drawn to a stone other than your angelite. Go with it, and try not to force anything. Usually stones are not beings and will only act as tools, even if all you get out of them is an appreciation of their beauty. I once had an extensive rock collection, and, having put a little of myself in all of the stones, missed it after it was gone -- although the most "enlightenment" I got out of them was an enjoyment of them and an understanding of the stone's traits.

tuning into crystal energy is a certain type of thing. I have studied chakra crystals and wanted to incorporaste them into a healing practice in some way, with an oscillating energy beam and trance music, but as of yet haven't done this.
I am also starting a church based on that the earth is a living thing and want to use crystals in that. i have had a few large crystal and mineral/plants and stuff i find in the woods, etc alters set up for awhile there, still have them to some degree.
quartz is fossilized water
t channels the energy of the earth.
there is a good book windows of light
the elements spiral up geometrically in each facet
the cosmic crystal spiral is a good one too

@chronazon:Thanks for that input. It really helped me and I will look into this more.

@Chanel:"Sapphire
Sapphire is a stone of creative expression, intuition, and meditation, and enhances all those things. Sapphire is corundum, and comes in virtually any color of the rainbow including blue, pink, purple, orange (Padparadsha), green, colorless, and red (known as ruby). Sapphire is beneficial for mental clarity and depression. Physically it is good for lowering fevers and inflammation, hearing problems, cancer, and burns. Sapphire is associated with the brow chakra. Various colors of sapphire have properties in addition to the general sapphire properties."

I hope that can help you with what your trying to find

I dabble in stones and can say that unless you feel bad when wearing it (and trust me, you'll notice), don't worry about it.

The worst experience I've had is a headache. Maybe feeling a little drained as well. But that was from something I did not buy for myself, and was not really bought for me.

Put them on. If you don't feel bad after 10 minutes, they're fine. If you feel a little different, don't worry about it. And if you feel creative/happy, congratulations!

Sounds like you've got a little chakra set (even if you weren't trying to get one).

I've got quartz, lapis, angelite, malachite (which I might change), citrine, carnelian, and hematite as a 7-chakra set. A few amythysts as well (you can never have enough purple!) and a jade necklace.

I like working with stone, and have worked with them since I started, though it was kind of an accident. Anyway, what I've learned about stones and crystals is that they can work three main ways.

1. The main way is when used focus in a spell or ritual. The stone is source of energy that your have determined would be beneficial to your purpose. One think you always have to remember is that a stone is its own energy and not just a filter of an element or your own.

2. The secondary purpose is to carry them with you. Certain stones have healing properties, and other have emotional ones. Some can help with meditation and others can help with everyday things. You just have to find the set of stones that work the best for you.

3. The third way may be the obscure, but every stone has an affiliation with a place or type of being even if the meaning in this case is specific to you. This can lead you to various things that usually are specific to the individual.

Choosing stones should be a process all in itself. You should never choose a stone just because a book or spell says that you need it. There are always others that can be used in it's place.

Each stone has a personality of its own. I don't mean each type, but every single stone. In order to find the one that works well with you, you should hold the stone, or look at it, and in the end, you should ask the stone if it will work with you. This question may not be a vocal question. Meditate with the stone if you feel it necessary. It's hard to explain, but if and when the stone decides to help you, you'll know. It may be immediately, or it may take some time.

Now if you want more information on stones and the such, I suggest this book:

Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Crystal, Gem & Metal Magic

Amazon.com: Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Crystal, Gem & Metal Magic: Scott Cunningham: Books (http://www.amazon.com/Cunninghams-Encyclopedia-Crystal-Metal-Magic/dp/0875421261/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1242961649&sr=8-1)

I've not read the book myself because I haven't gotten around to buying it, but that would be a very good source of information regarding stones and crystals.

Though, remember, these stones and crystals are what you make of them. A book like that one may say it works for purification and love interest, but you may find it works best for strength or energy gathering. The best way to learn is to find out yourself. Use the books and writings as a reference, but experience will be what really helps you.

My main set of stones are:

Clear Quartz- Focus and a central point
Amethyst- Fire and awareness
Amber- Earth and past memories
Green Adventurine- Wind and Quick thinking
Moss Agate- Water and Problem solving

These are, of course, only my interpretations of the stones, and for you they may be different. There is no template for the individual stone, so I guess what I'll wrap this up on is, keep an open mind when it comes to choosing and using. I hope this helped in some degree.

my only real experience in working with crystals was i once wore rose quartz in a mojo bag around my neck with a couple herbs and i truly felt it vibrate against my chest. i was amazed. it was a feeling almost like vicks vaporub but stronger, like a thrumming from the rose quartz.

I work with crystals, both as a part of rituals both for Paganism, Shamanism and ritual magick, but also as a system of it's own. I use crystals to help me in my everyday tasks. I am stone crazy and love to work with different kinds of stones.

I have found stones to be very useful to, let us say I have a headache, I might not have the energy for a big and complicated ritual, but picking up a amethyst and a moss agate and placing them under my pillow with the intent to heal and then rest for a while work wonders. Stones is a way to do simple magick fast and easy and can be wonderful aids for more complex magick.
