(The red guy complete with horns and tail with pitchfork in hand) I also think that the Jews meant for the word "Satan" to be a religious epithet geared towards those who did not believe as they did. To them, those who find Christ to be their salvation are Satan as well.

Its still a bit of a moral high ground that leans towards intolerance. Its all so negative. You can be foolish and unenlightened but still be an okay human. People change and grow. To label most of humanity as a pile of crap is excluding the possibility that they can evolve not only in moral standards but social standards as well. Its why I don't call black people Negros. Its considered offensive. Its also why I don't kick Irish people or why I can understand why women want to vote. Seeing as its part of the religion, who can really argue.
