Hi community. I need help in finding a path(s) to study in the occult. I have read Liber Null and scanned over a few occult websites and forums. I have also practiced psi energy which gained some results. However information is scattered and I'm having trouble putting it into practice. I understand that each occult can be applied to personal preference and alignment to a belief, the issue is I have no clear cut belief. I just have a habit of trying new things.

It's hard to ask for a specific answer as I don't have a really good question. So maybe you could point me in a direction or give your personal view on this.

I do not plan on joining an occult group, I don't believe there is one where I live so this is an individual assignment. Ill also say I'm probably most interested in contemporary methods which is why i started out reading Liber Null.

Perhaps the greatest Issue is I do not know what kind of results I'm looking for and I don't know of the sort of repercussions involved.

Sorry I could not construct a better question

Read up on how to contact Orobas and let him teach you. Also, ask the 3 fates to guide you to knowledge.

Thanks for the quick reply Viral, a spiritual guide sounds like a good idea. However remember I know nothing about the practice of the occult. A google search of 'how to contact orobas' leads to nothing and, there's nothing on these forums. I have also read a couple negetive reports on orobas, for a first time thing, I need to be reasured :)

Perhaps contacting a spirit guide would answer my sort of a question? I have a cluttered mind..

It is good that you're seeking answers but the most important teacher is yourself. I like the title of your thread because it means that you're willing to solve problems by yourself and not looking for someone to tell you how to figure things out--all you need is advice not commandments. Stay on the forum.

One word...Chaos Magic...Ok thats 3 words.

Just read up on it, I think that its a good gateway into the Occult in general. Don't get to hooked up with the specifics or worried about some of the stranger allegories and symbols employed by Khaots...and never mind the walrus.

Focus on the underlying precepts of belief.

If you want I can send you some good links that explain the above or you can noodle around yourself and see what you can see.

Khaots...we are one and always zero.
;)

Good hunting.

First I would suggest that you stay away from the drugs to help with the spiritual path it seems that they hinder the path that you wish to find.

The meditation you would be better to stick with though you say it seems to be getting worse might just be getting better,it is better that we don't place a judgement on the progression that we make have the trust and faith that we are continually moving forward.

You haven't expressed what you meditations consist of the time you have been practicing, but one doesn't sit and go into a meditative state the very first time, one has to work to attain this state, and the length of time it takes to achieve this states reflects the time and energy that you put into the practice.

If one is learning how to swim after the first week or two you just take on the English Channel the third week you need to build up the stamina, in the case of meditation you need to work on the relaxation and the stillness of the body and the mind, starting in small increments of time.

For the first week or two say maybe 10 minutes max letting go of everything but being aware of what the body is doing, where you are holding things in your body tensions i.e the legs maybe the buttocks upper body this will change from day to day and the meditation will differ from day to day also.

As we progress through the meditation process the body goes through changes from the types of breathing ( which some time latter a breathing technique will be employed ) to the slowing beats per minute of the heart to experiencing of seeing colors.

So why would one want to use the drugs to get to these feelings only for the quick fix to speed up of the process, this is a process of self discovery of the physical as well as the spiritual this is a journey that we are partaking in not some fast trip and the other aspect is that we don't allow the talk or condone the use of drugs on this forum

I used nutmeg in high school. It was a very unpleasant, embarrasing, and scary experience but it was quite enlightening. But please, DON'T DO THAT! Bad idea. However another thing that brings wisdom is a natural supplement galled GABA. Just take 2 or 3 of them. The principle of Brahma will be invoked, and the principle of Atman will bring ideas to you, while the principle of Ahriman will make you question them. GABA is a neurotransmitter.

I would suggest that you study psychic sciences first and just read about other paths till you find one that really seems good for you!

I would suggest reading anything by Enid Hoffman and Draja Mickaharic to get a idea on which way you really want to go. As you may wish to join a order also?

Also I wouldn't get into using supplement drugs for what can be termed as instant enlightenment, unless you are working under a skilled and knowledgeable shaman, or teacher!
