Sorry, I'm new to these forums so I hope this is in the right place!

I was wondering if anyone knew of good meditation techniques that help control spiritual powers, such as in dreams. I have some powers in the dream realm, but I unfortunately have absolutely no control over it and would like to fix that. Thank you!

Try meditating on the thought of what you're trying to see. I know that's a very vague way to put it, but I think it'll work. When you go into your meditation, think only of that thing that you're searching for. Try to find its images in your head especially since its a type of dream. The only hard thing about this type of meditation is maintaining focus on only that one thing. Hopefully this method helps.

What do you want help with exactly? Lucid dreaming? Or you want to control your dreams so you can use them for divination? You didnt really say what you wanted help with. What spirtual powers do you speak of?

I would like to use it mainly for divination purposes but also for lucid dreaming, although the latter is of lesser priority.

You should look into something called reality checking to help with lucid dreaming. As for divination, I like to think that my dreams are just dreams and that's it..... God i hope dreams are just dreams.. Good luck.

Cathy, please keep me updated. I try to stick to Christian beliefs as well (and I don't mind incorporating a bit of Buddhism). I think I might use a cross necklace instead of crystals and stones, though. Nothing against that sort of thing, but it's just not really my style as I prefer to rely on divine power. We should definitely compare notes!

I often have complete control over my dreams. If I manage to become aware when I am dreaming I can do whatever I want. I even can wake myself up from REM sleep, which some sleep researchers say is impossible because you are supposed to be paralyzed while in REM sleep, but I do it regularly. It gives me HUGE migraine if I do though! I accomplished this over the years by a shear desire to do so. I concentrated on wanting to control my dreams during the day time so when I do fall asleep that thought is still in my head. I could go on and on about this!
