Thanks for the friendly welcome so far all. Must admit I was expecting a certain amount of pretention as it is pretty much all I have experienced so far with been a newbie on internet forums. Have been able to find a good amount of useful information and guidance browsing through your many threads already. Have just purchased psychic self-defense by Dion Fortune following the advice from your occult books thread. Should be a good start.

I am also reading a book by Dion Fortune called The Cosmic Doctrine. It is quite an interesting read, but I am only on Chapter 10 of 31. I plan on finishing it as soon as possible, but I am a freelance writer with deadlines to make.

However, there are some rumors that she stole a lot of her material. Personal slander and heresy? Perhaps. Or maybe the naysaying has some (or a lot) of truth to it.
