By immortality do you mean to live forever? I have to say be careful on that path. I always thought of life as keeping it not boring. If you became a immortal one would get bored with life when they learned everything.

I would not mind living forever as a vampire, although I know that such creatures do not exist.

Dont personaly see how eternal life could get dull or boring - not if the very essense of it ( "Life"/"Being" etc ) is one of a constant unfolding and change, being presenced for as long as their IS life. Can all things realy ever be known if the "new" is constantly being evolved in this way - and maybe presenced/evolved BY the immortal one him/her self? Seems it would be far from "every-day"!
As for any discussion on Immortality itself, I`ll stay well out of it, this time!
