Sounds like you suffer from both multiple personality disorder and schizophrenia. I do not think Wicca will help you there; you need a psychologist.

Nonsense. Just ground yourself, you don't need to be sane. Welcome to OF, fellow psychopath! We will get along just fine.

One must have a firm stance on this realm before even thinking about exploring other realms. I am not implying that other realms operate via the same mechanics of this one; however, one must know the natural occurrences of this realm so one may properly differentiate them from unnatural phenomena. And one will encounter much difficulty standing firm when one's mind is not sound.

I agree for the most part. For example, I condone the use of psychedelics as a spiritual tool. But there are certain psychological profiles that absolutely can not tolerate psychedelics. They must omit this tool from their arsenal and focus on safer methods of ecstasy that will not result in the horrible consequence of insanity. Psychedelics can trigger any potential psychosis, and HPPD would be a horrible existence.

And if one is not wholly grounded in the empirical world, pursuing the esoteric world may lead to further detachment to the point that one can not function well in society, which is detrimental to the individual for a number of reasons, despite as much as we'd like to declare our independence from society. The insane have limited options. They may have trouble maintaining employment. No job leads to either no home, or dependence upon welfare. Either way, independence is rarely an option, so psychological help is a vital prerequisite, in my opinion.

I do not think that you truly suffer from MPD (or DID); I think you're just prone to fancy. But in the case that I'm wrong: get help!

I agree. Sanaira, though you seem to just be pretending, mental disorders really are not that amusing. Before I knew him, my best friend killed himself because he had and still suffers from acute clinical depression. It was only fourteen hours of surgery that restarted his autonomic functions. I know a wonderful woman who would be such a pleasant person to converse with, but she suffers from schizophrenia, rendering all verbal communication a chore. Another friend suffers from anxiety so badly that he checked himself into a mental institution several times. So you see, various forms of insanity hit close to home, though they do not affect me personally.

And, honestly, not to be rude, but the best way to learn about the occult is not through idle fantasies, especially once that, if actualized, would put you in quite a detrimental position.

I agree. I personally would not, though. I could handle it, but I'd rather do all the work myself. To the people who do want to use them as a tool, I say go for it, but do not become dependent upon them. Being addicted to such substances for occult purposes is just as bad as being psychologically addicted to them. In fact, separating the two types of addictions is really unnecessary.

Yes, welcome to the forums. I do not mean to discourage your pursuits. I just want you to realize that many people take the occult seriously, and it would be best not to treat it as whimsical fantasy.

Whimsical in the vein of 'otherkin'? It's not much of a stretch from bedroom RPGs.

About drugs: I see nothing inferior or wrong with chemognosis. You can learn some unexpected lessons this way. Dependence is, of course, detrimental to the individual; but it is also avoided by responsible use of non-addictive substances - particularly the organic ones.

I am not here to make you believe that I am what I am, nor for that matter do I CARE if you believe me. If I cared whenever somebody told me I was wrong, or a liar I most likely wouldn't be here, now would I? Considering many uneducated people prefer the movie idea of paganism which, according to certain class mate, includes eating babies. (who knew?) So no, you don't have to believe me, I don't expect you believe me, but I will remain as long as I am allowed, and learn what I can. That is the only point of being on the forum. As for a psychologist, I'm not a fan, I won't go near them, and I haven't damaged anyone, nor do I plan on it. If we harm none, I think its fair to leave us as we are, for whom can say they know whom the original is that it would be better to rid either one of us, and who has the right to meddle unbidden in the affairs of someone else's head?

Oh and Mrs. Peel? Thanks.
