Do we have it or not?

What is it anyways?

I believe we have free will yes,

Whilst i cant source any particular text or person to support my personal understanding of "free will" i have always summarized it to be like this.

Consciousness & our higher self, reside within a quantum mechanical vessel (our body) that operates within this frequency range (this dimension) and it is through consciousness in conjunction with mind that we direct our existence.

We have free will to say, go outside our homes right now, however someone else has the free will to lock the door, and to that end our free will, would have been affected by another s free will.

To me at least, what i have always come to summarize it as, is that free will, is much like a infinitely forking road, that changes with every single thought and action that you take, as everything is choice, be it a conscious choice, an unconscious choice or an influenced choice (by outside people/forces) ... im sure you get the idea.

Now to that end, i do not dismiss fate also, but i think "fate" in the absolute sense of the word, is perhaps to liberal to use in regards to free will, ive always thought of fate like this, and i will use a very very simple relevant example.

At a moment in your life, your presented with two options.

You choose, through thought and free will to pursue magick and follow your own spiritual path, to that end one might say its your "fate" or rather Destination to become a powerful magus etc etc.

Or at that precise moment.

You choose, through thought and free will to instead pursue the card game of poker and follow your own earthly path, to that end one might say its your "fate" or rather destination to become a incredibly successful and rich poker tournament player.

and at every second through your entire life, you will be bombarded by new thoughts and ideas, both earthly and "ethric" by yourself, others, the environment and the universe abroad that will ultimately fork your path.

Whilst some situations look as though their is no choice at all, there is usually an option however we fail to see it, law of probability also will make one choice appear to be the only choice, as the mind or spirit will naturally yield a certain way.

I mean right now i could stand up, renounce my services to the light, and throw myself head long to the forces of darkness, its my choice to do so, but would i do that? no my higher self knows of that side, and thus probability wise and logically i would never make that choice, even though i still could.

Unfortunately i have to dash for work now, so im afraid i cant really continue giving my theories or opinions right now, however i hope my thoughts have interested you :)

I of course as stated earlier dont know if their true or accurate as i have come to learn them myself, and not through outside information (bar a few bits and pieces here and there), and as yet the "choice" or path for me to understand the true nature of free will has not yet presented itself ... however im sure given the right choices (free will) by myself, the arch angels and the gods & goddess's (aspects of god) of light will at some time in my life decide to teach me the true meaning in the way of using their free will to affect mine, to bring about a scenario that one would describe as fate :)

Free will and fate go hand in hand, and i believe they universally affect each other constantly. Ying and Yang and two parts of the same equation.

In my opinion, at my current level of understanding & education.

Blessed Be
~V~

None of us have total freedom, but we all have some degree of it. None of us have 100% free will, but none of us have zero. Something is wrong if you have 50% or less.
