Hello all. My name is Justin, and I've been involved with occultism for about 15 years now.
As probablly in most cases, my interest in the black arts began from the metal bands and horror movies. When I was 18 I began seeing things in a different light when I discovered that the Nazi's rise to power was in part helped by an actual cult. This shocked me, because it showed political power and the practical influence that the black arts actually have.
Anyway, I look forward to meeting new people and hopefully learn as well.

So was america's founding. For sure by the Masons and some say by the Illuminati. Take a look at the dollar bill.

Exactly. Wether you believe in the spiritual or mystical perspective of occultism or not, it's out there, and when unified, can be a power house of influence that is very real.

Welcome to the forums sir, whilst my interests are in the white arts, one truly can't dismiss the impact that the black arts have had on the world, now whether you think they are good or bad depends on your alignment really however it is very interesting.
The occult history of the third Reich is a interesting documentary if you haven't seen it. Gosh, the things Himmler was doing were extremely interesting.
Once again welcome to the forums :)

Howdy :)
I just read something about the "heil hitler" arm salute of the nazi's being the gesture for the air element. It's pecuilar hitler didn't salute back the same way however. Anyone know why?

I'll have to check that out.
A really good book on the occult beliefs of the Nazi party and the connections they had with South America (basically where most of the Nazi's fled) and their occultic beliefs is titled "Unholy Allience."
Anyway, thanks for the welcome!

Howdy, right back at you RunningAroundNakedonFire (love the name)
I don't think I've ever heard or read anything about the salute before, I always thought it was duplicated for the salute Ceaser recieved.

Thanks! Hmmm, you could be right! But if you check out the air gesture in golden dawn tradition it's the same.

I'll have to check that out.
I do know that Hitler was fanatical about destroying all other secret societies/mystical orders, for whatever purpose I'm not sure if anyone knows. He especially hated the Masonic Lodge.
But it is a given that the Thule cult was partially based of Tibet and Nordic mysticism. Perhaps they borrowed or stole sacred rites and gestures, such as the Nazi salute, from other religions. It's quite possible.
My personal theory is that Hitler cought Himmler in the shower crubbing his right armpit, and in embarrassment Himmler belched 'Hail Hitler!':D

We should be able to talk about history, And if we are allowed to make posts about Rasputin we should be able to make posts about Hitler. There have been numerous posts on this subject matter before and no one, not Lady D, not Odin, not even Anti himself objected to them. You are a first.

I aploogize She Devil, I realize that it is a touche subject. However, it is a part of history we should respect and fear.
As for being late...not a problem. In fact, I don't think I've ever had so many welcome letters on any fourm I've ever been on.
It seems like OccultFourms has a good crowd, and I'm happy to be a part of it.

She Devil I agree with Viral. No one was talking pro-nazi here, just talking about history. I know you're ambitious to do well in your new position here, and you have my best wishes, but denying talk about history is censorship of the worst kind. I'll be the first to back you however, if anyone spouts pro-nazi propaganda. Please take this into consideration!
