Someone deleted the old poem thread so here is a new one.
To start it out with, here is a poem about my ex.
Damn Caller I.D.
The smile upon your face
would never go to waste
and you loved me for who I was
and saved me with your grace
we shared a special bond
I listened to your songs
Nirvana was your living room
to us the world belonged
Elysian your voice
I didn't have a choice
Agape in those ancient eyes
you made my heart rejoice
... But then you became too busy, then moved away, then found your soulmate, and now...
Your smile curdles milk
your face is like a snake
you're like a Freddy Krueger dream
but dammit, I'm awake
who's driving me to drink?
The Antichrist I think
your music a cacaphony
more horrid than "In Sync"
you drive me up a wall
so I'll give you a call
if only you would answer it
'cause that would fix it all
