Since the 1970's a man named Benjamin Creme, who now has influence in the United Nations, has been promoting his ideas about a man named Maitreya...Creme claims that Maitreya is the next Christ like figure and that he is already here on Earth and ready to lead the world into the new age of Aquarius...there are even commercials made that run on CNN about this...be interested to know what others think on this subject...myself, at this point I have a hard time believing Mr. Creme and an even harder time believing in Maitreya, but the subject is fascinating...also found this interesting: try "artificial reference star" on youtube.

Benjamin Creme was on AM talk radio last night (7/31/09) for an hour so I had to listen like a dork on a Friday night. He gave his usual info about Maitreya with a little added twist at the end. He now says that there are four "stars" showing up in the sky (N/S/E/W one for each hemisphere to see) that symbolize that Maitreya is going to make his presence known to the world VERY soon. He also went on to say that they are not actually stars but spacecrafts being materialized and guided by the masters of wisdom.

The host of the radio show said afterwords that it was the first time in 5000 interviews that he had to stop (and he did cut Creme off a bit abruptly at the end) due to feeling as though he was going to pass out. Some listeners emailed and called the program complaining of similar sicknesses and other symptoms and accusing Maitreya of being The Anti-Christ.

Myself? I felt great listening!...makes me wonder if it's because
A) I'm an evil bastard and Maitreya IS the Anti-Chirst
B) Creme is full of crap and it's funny that he talks to world leaders about this stuff and that they actually listen to him
C) Maitreya has opened my soul to positive vibrations and frequencies that make one feel great
D) The entertainment value of this subject is top notch
E) Something else entirely...(insert your insults towards me here:p)

Again, this subject amazes me...anyways...I'm gone for the next 2 plus weeks on tour with our band OSK...if yer on the western half of Canada and reading this by some miracle, come check us out live...we play what you might call East Vancouver Power Violence or E.V.P.V. for short...most sane people don't like it:D... hope there's some more chatter about the whole Maitreya thing on here when I get back...CHEERS:)!!!

That's awesome! To meet someone like a master of wisdom would surely enhance ones life and spiritual development immensely!

I've had experiences earlier in this life (circa 1998) with what I can only now describe as telepathic communications from unknown entities...also other contacts with various kinds of energy bodies, though I don't know what to call them...back then it was overwhelming...now a days I still experience similar things, but deal with it just fine...Benjamin Creme also speaks of having similar telepathic experiences...

In 1998-2001 going through these things caused me much trouble...I lost many friends and the respect of many family members...they all thought I was nuts...(I now live 5000+ km away from these folk in a different country)

Those 3 years left me skeptical of EVERYTHING and belief in ANYTHING seemingly impossible, though I am very open minded when it comes to hearing what others believe in...after hearing what Benjamin Creme has to say, it for certain struck a chord with me, but to this day I don't know what to think when totaling up the information...

Part of me would like what Creme says to be true, another part of me is stand-off-ish, not because of fear but because of what I call "anti-belief syndrome"...but...

The world seems to be growing out of some kind of "consciousness cocoon" and if Maitreya truly does have a helping hand to offer humanity, then I'm 100% with that...

The thing that bugs me is this...
