personally, I think that a chirstian interviewer will be a bit biased; and will not always be willing to let a Satanist talk, or give voice to a Satanist- and therefore understand why this was biased.

But I also think David Schrek voiced himself very well too, and find it interesting the level of intellectual authority he held over Bob Larson (the christian interviewer)

It's interesting enough (what i've seen of it)but I feel Satanists should get their info out through the media were possible without debating with christians, Sure the christian usually looks stupid..to us at least. But to the audience at large this won't be the case. Does this matter. Not really. But why disseminate information through pointless debates with christians?

Anyway both Nikolas and Zeena are no longer Satanists, the Storm was a theistic setian group which made it clear they viewed Set and Satan as seperate entities which has now disappered. Heartily recommend their book though.

When I was a Christian, I listened to Bob Larson every day that I was able to, and I still have some of his books and tapes. This video was one that caught my attention due to the times; it was in the 80's and the Christian belief that there was a world wide network of Devil worshippers was still picking up steam.
Bob demonstrated his ignorance and Zeena looked like a goodess!
It is an interesting video when one takes into account the mindset of people when it was shot. BTW, any current pictures of Zeena?

I have read all of his books and have all but the Satanic Witch, and I have come to conclusion that I am not a follower. His slant on Objectivism is interesting in the sense that he seems to be more of an elitist than Ayn!
The hokey way that he adorned the plastic horns while decrying the existance of the supernatural was pretty weird and confusing.
What information do you have that suggests he was a con? I read what Zeena wrote about him and his treatment of their dog, his views on various races and his 'church members'. If these are true, then he was a sad little man. I still haven't made it through The Devil Speaks, because it seems like he is jerking around with the reader. In short I feel insulted.

LaVey knew many things. He was not a symbolic Satanist as he used to claim. He was not an atheist. We know that he was a (wanna be) Diabolist.

He did look like a Diabolist and I dont know how he used to worship the Devil when he was alone, but if he believed anything that he used to say publicly he was just a wanna be Diabolist not a real one.

But we dont know what kind of secret societies he had joined. The fact is that his name was involved in Satanic murders many times.
