How do you charge/activate a sigil/servitor?

Do you meditate on the sigil to charge/activate it? Do you colour it to infuse it with power? Do you trace it with something flammable and then light it on fire?
How do you charge it with different energy? Earth, air, fire, water, octarine?

The same questions for a servitor. How do you empower your servitors? How do you ensure (if at all,) that it self destructs or dissipates when it has completed its service? Have you ever kept a servitor instead of disbanding it?

There are many methods of doing both of those, it is safe to say that you can use your imagination. One key is belief. Charge your sigils/ servitors with faith in them, and they will acquire some substance. Many people charge their sigils and sometimes servitors with ov, meaning they masturbate while looking at the sigil or visualizing the servitor, or simply concentrating on their desire. Another method is imagining glowing clouds of energy getting sucked into one spot, becoming concentrated, and flowing into the sigil or servitor.
