Is a neophyte an immortal? Is it possible for a human to be a neophyte? Probably secret but how does one turn into a neophyte? Read some about it and it really got me curious cause what I read didn't describe what it is as if it were granted that one should know.

Oh right dictionary says it's a novice or someone entering a fraternity as a non-believer.

Why couldn't be something more magic? Or is it?

I know it is an expression used by many fraternities. I used to think it were an immortal.

Well my question really to anyone especially a golden dawn member: What is the golden dawn about and how and why become a member?

It means beginner. In self initiation orders like the OSM, you are a probationer, and when you pass your first written exam and do the first initiation you are called a Neophyte, there is no grade for a Neophyte, in other orders it is the same a beginner, and no it has nothing to do with being immortal.

It just sickens me if people don't read the frickin posts. I mean, can it get any dafter? I have a legasthenic, dyslexic friend with an IQ of 89, who is clever enough to actually *read* the replies to his questions on webforums, so why on Earth could nephilim possibly find that task in any way difficult?
