Hi, I'm new to this forum and this subject and hoping that you guys can answer a question. Has anyone ever known about someone projecting their spirit/soul/essence into a different body? Whats this called and how does this effect the two bodies involved? Does the person who receives the spirit know what's going on? I don't know anything about occult subjects, sorry. :confused:

What you're asking is probably possible. Like most things, what I know and practice varies a little with what you're asking. A long time ago, I was taught that it is possible to concentrate on a mutually selected and approved object and not only communicate with another using that object but (mutually) feed on another's energy as well.

I don't even know what the name for that is.

Its kind of like a cross for Christians, but only if Christ had handed you the cross and told you, "when you hold this, see this, or think of this, think of me and I'll be with you and you with me, my strength will be yours and yours will be mine."

Its kind of like possession, but not what most would think it is, and I highly doubt everyone can do it.

Edit: Everyone uses cell phones now, though, lol. :p They can be an energy drain, too.

Based on the information and "rules" I have read on the astral worlds and magickal worlds I wouldn't say inhabiting a person is completely impossible. However, you would have to have the person's permission to enter their body otherwise I would assume it could be extremely harmful to their psyche and spirit and I doubt the other person would be conscious of the fact a person was inhabiting them. Also this seems to me that it would be more of an out of body experience than it would be anything else. While on the astral plane with practice you can manifest and alter whatever you see fit. I would assume one of the possibilities would be to alter your perception of yourself to that of the person you're wanting to "inhabit" and that would be the only way it could be done.

Actually, that was highly unnecessary. I am a beginner who got my vocab mixed up, made a link in meaning where there wasn't one, and I humbly stood corrected.

It wasn't an ad, it was a recipe posted in the recipe forum. My entire life doesn't revolve around studying, and making that cake was a powerful act of love for someone I care about very deeply. I would do it again before reading a single page of Crowley.
