I think I have almost all Crowley books but heres a problem I face, all the Crowley books I have tried reading require me to already know something from another book. Is there a chronological order that I need to follow? or which is the 1st book that I should read?

I honestly don't know, I have a few of his books and read his works in such a haphazard way. I am sure there is someone here who could help you. I guess logically you could start from first to last, I've never thought about it.

start with the books in the equinox. It's long but it will give you a good basis to understand the rest of his work. I don't think Crowley intended an order of reading but the equinox contains alot of his basic philosophy and magickal principles. Most important of all, read the Book of the Law twice.

regardie was crowleys student and a friend. he says in the foreword that this is the book you're looking for.
