I've been doing a good deal of reading recently, and I'm preparing to undergo the rituals described within and I'm wanting to clarify somethings that didn't quite add up...

I own a copy of the book and it's companion the Gates of the Necronomicon, and lately I've been referencing them to eachother and somethings don't quite add up in my mind.

The gates themselves and the four towers...

Uhm for lack of a better wording, "lol, where do I fall?"

I've been visualing the ritual and how it would play out, and I don't see how I can be in the gate or touch it with out altering it in some way....

Now, I would go so far as to refer to myself as a Chaote in the sense that I use subjective truths in my craft, but when I'm using other systems, or "templates" if you will, I like very much to be precise(it helps me channel the energies I feel I normally use.)

If anyone out there has undergone the Gate rituals, would you please so kind as to help?

Okay I'm not one for the Necronomicon, nor have I done this before but I do know how to not ulter something while in a meditation state.

Before you enter think of your self as being ethral, ghost, and etc. In this form you'd past through the gates with out actualy touching them.

Now I've never done the gate rituals in the Necronomicon, but thats only because I've never had the need to. Why exactly do you want to do it?
I've found that necronomicon magicks work fine without any additional tampering, and Cthulhu will haunt your dreams regardless of whether or not you passed the gates...
