Its hard to find a single answer to this question but after all that's what everyone like to be certain about. I expect different answers based on different philosophy but what I would like to know is can everyone agree up one one ultimate truth. you might already guessed the question, its about who we are, where we come from, what the universe is all about, "The Truth". As practitioners of spiritual science or belief can anyone without a doubt and blind belief say I know this for sure? or there is no such a thing and the question is stupid? I am not interested in a religious or non-religious institution philosophy since all of them claim to be "the one".All i am asking is if there can be a common ground to begin with.:confused:?

Thank u

the truth is intangible and would we really want to get there what meaning would our life have then, I think none we would have nothing more to say nothing more to do.

the journey is the destination in life once you have succeeded you are done.

the first common ground is belief, no mater what you do you believe what you are doing is right or wrong, and that belief equates a right or wrong way to live. this is one thing all religions, and philosophies have in common. Now I think in later times this became a tool for the controlling classes, but every individual has this in them no matter how they differ, this can not be looked at with consequences in mind that is societies choice of right and wrong, and also reason to the level of surviving. so we have grown into a collective unit, but can also be individuals. I think the way thing are going is individual growth, but collaborating in others thoughts and recherches, and sharing ones own, The way I see many of the past beliefs is in here is the belief now adopt and conform. I think it is time to let the masses free. the main problem is it is hard to be free for some, I think a way to look at it is growing up from young adult to adult, or possibly child to young adult.

@Zero
Belief can be a common ground for many and right and wrong can be only a perspective but do u think that individual belief alter the perception of what is true? if we both see a tree, no matter what we believe, we perceive it as a tree and not as a bird or something else. And i think everybody will perceive the truth as one thing irrespective of individual beliefs although it may not be easy to comprehend.

@Emma
I know it sounds confusing but I haven’t catch your drift about “bloody sex”. What I am saying is try to be neutral when answering.

I agree but that does not mean every one will, granted most will. For instance one may say the see a tree, another may say they see energy, and another may say they see an illusion, and I suppose one may say they see a bird in a connection of a bird in the tree. though they all see the tree they may perceive it differently.

the reason I use belief is to show it as a point of truth to conform is a point every one goes to, to collaborate is many(hopefully all) points coming together.

I see what you are saying and no truth is truth but we need to interpret it.

I would say it doesn’t matter where we come from or where we are going, if we were supposed to know then we would know. We can only guess and accept the ideas that feel right to us ie I believe in reincarnation but I cant prove it.
And I will under no circumstances sit around wondering if it kosher to eat a beef or a bacon sandwich.
I have spent so much time in the past worrying about questions like hell, heaven, right religion, wrong religion, can I do this or should I be doing that, stuff that crap have the sense of a bird they don’t even consider these things. And having a bird brain will set people free from needless worry.

I don't worry about anything, I do what feels right for me, and never worry about if I eat the hot dog will I go to hell? I don't think there is any definitive answer, it is different for each person.

like asking do you like bloody sex. what is wrong with you?

I misread that as "would you?" I've nothing else to do this evening...
