I've been listening to Ka-Boom Ka-Boom and This Is The New **** by Manson lately.

I first had Ka-Boom Ka-Boom stuck in my head all last week and it was funny timing and hard to explain but the very next day when I first had the song in my head, there was the story of the moscow female suicide subway bombings. Which I thought was amusing in timing.

Anyway then I started to get This Is The New **** stuck in my head and I just liked the start of the vid clip with the girls.

I'm inspired by all of you; if I could show this whole thing to my crazy christian mother (who recently discovered I'm a Satanist), she would be proven totally wrong! Not all Satanists/Pagans/Druids, ect, listen to death metal. I listen to mostly black/death metal, but I also love any kind of industrial/gothic/EBM.

My favorite band is Cryptopsy, but I also love Dimmu Borgir, Night Wish, Epica, Grendel, VNV Nation, FabrikC, almost anything.

Me too, when I was really young and Ashes to Ashes came out it was my favorite music video of all, on a tv show called Countdown. I was fascinated by it.


Anyway last night I had the word Sonata stuck in my head. I dont know why and I didnt really know what it meant(I knew it was musical but thats about it). So today I typed Sonata into YouTube(it was still in my mind)and chose the little devil looking one because I just liked the pic. So I listened to and enjoyed this long two part song(so you could maybe say it was two violins..)..

Which comes with a story which I thought was interesting..

The story behind "Devil's Trill" starts with a dream. Tartini allegedly told the French astronomer Jérôme Lalande that he dreamed that The Devil appeared to him and asked to be his servant. At the end of their lessons Tartini handed the devil his violin to test his skill—the devil immediately began to play with such virtuosity that Tartini felt his breath taken away. When the composer awoke he immediately jotted down the sonata, desperately trying to recapture what he had heard in the dream. Despite the sonata being successful with his audiences, Tartini lamented that the piece was still far from what he had heard in his dream. What he had written was, in his own words: "so inferior to what I had heard, that if I could have subsisted on other means, I would have broken my violin and abandoned music forever."

Anyway straight after that I was drawn to a Steve Vai song I hadnt heard at all, which is why I was drawn to it because there is not many I havent heard. And coincidentally in the clip there are two violinist who run amok with him. Ahh so anyway I'm listening to like a mash together(a Sonata?) of the two songs.
