I've been fascinated with mysticism and psychology for as long as I can remember. As far as I can tell, the Occult has deep rooted links in both these fields. I feel as though I'm missing something in my life and I see myself drifting more and more towards the Occult. It seems to be what I am looking for! From what I saw in the beginner section I see nothing about good starter books. I would love for some of the more experienced Occultists to point me in the right direction for some beginner reading. I have heard good things of Aleister Crowley's Book 4 and the Satanic Bible.
