Anyone know of any spells for intelligence, resourcefulness and courage?

I was expecting a reply like this. May I ask what the point of magic is, if not for self improvement?

The Solomon''s key is a grimoire encompassing spirits which teach you various things like maths, different languages, arts etc.

I personally think that intelligence is something that you are born with & even with constant practice it can be only increased upto a certain extent.

But perhaps, the only limits we have are what we place on ourselves. You could try 'visualizing yourself as more intelligent' in your specific area after waking up& before sleeping, for e.g you could visualize yourself solving sums very fast or accurately if maths is your desired field.

I know that intelligence is not that vague a word but maybe you should tell if there any particular task or field for which you need more intelligence.

Undefiled wisdom precedes intelligence in my view.

As for courage, you should try collecting short stories which inspire that feeling in your gut, develop a positive attitude, face your fears but keeping it really easy initially & take 1 thing ata time, listen to relevant music, stay away from negative people/environments etc & use visualization. Courage isn't something that you can just develop in a day but gradually.

I don't know if what I typed would really help as there werent any magical methods but I kept on typing what I had in mind.

I never can understand why anyone will use a crutch as magick for self improvement
Then you imply that it works ...

it is a pussy like behavior. the improvement comes from you, not from magick, outside source or a mentor. good you were expecting this it means you know what you were asking was bull ****.

In fact, using external elements to improve yourself is something that you do all the time ... You just seem to take issue with it in this context.

You'll always have crutches, but some will be better to have than others.

This does seem to be the case.

I am against this purgatory attitude & slavish mentality of imposing restrictions upon magick & other things as well. Magick, to me is about liberation & not confinement. Its beyond all dogmas.

If I can achieve something using magick, I sure will use it. I am not against hard work but if I have an easy way out, I will most certainly go for it.
& its not a pussy behaviour, its the smart way, more like common sense to be precise.

magick gets the ball rolling. ultimately your actions will define you to others. heres a saying ive had pounding in me since basic training "fake it till you make it" and remeber "audacity can always be corrected with more audacity." these two sentances can take you anywhere.

i found this at a spell site, couldn't hurt i guess.

Relax and meditate. Chant softly, getting louder for about three minutes and courage will come to you. Chant the following:
Burning flame,
Cooling wind,
Summon courage from within,
I call on all my strength and love,
Send me power from above.

Thank you, I'll give it a try.

I think that your best bet here--if you insist on using magic--would be to employ invocation methods, which, it should be stated, owe their efficacy to many of the same psychological mechanisms that would make novel reading similarly edifying (though, of course, in the former empathy is magnified into various degrees of identity). Personally, however, I think magic might be a bit of an overkill here, unless you're trying to construct yourself into a comic book superhero: I mean, just how un-(intelligent, resourceful, courageous) are you currently? If you do in fact presently possess more or less average levels of these attributes, then I would venture to say that your real "magical" challenge would be to transmute whatever insecurities are driving you to pursue this sort of supernalization of your egoic powers. I put it to you that if you should succeed at that task, you might just find your mind clearer, more spontaneous and less plagued by the anxieties of impossible expectations for yourself. Hope this helps:)
