Is there really a good or evil? think about it if something harms you its bad and/or evil. something that benefets you its good. but everythings all energy so infact there is no evil or good. just what we think.

Good & Evil are subjective. One Man's good is another Man's evil.
I agree with Hermetics and the symbology of yin yang, there is no good without evil nor evil without good, they are not opposites they are polar extremes of the same thing.

The Kybalion - go to chapter 10: http://www.hermetics.org/pdf/kybalion.pdf

Ethics to me were something that was created by society as a means to control us... because some people cannot control themselves... so that there can be harmony around us. Religion is powerful because it defines what is ''good'' and what is the enemy - ''evil''.

I think really good and evil stem from some sort of understanding of what pleasure and pain is... My other thought was Conscience....

Having a conscience allows one to create emotional attachments. Guilt is the opposite of Love... (hatred and anger are more instinctual feelings designed to keep us alive. Blood flows into the hands in order that we may grip weapons easier and adrenaline kicks in.) This gives us more reason to have some sort of ethical system because we could easily kill someone else if we weren't conditioned under an ethical system.

So true , I beleive this as well.
However, with feelings there are a few things that I would like to point out re feelings.

The primary emotion for Guilt is Shame, so guilt is the secondary emotion and also Anger is the primary emotion and secondary is Hate.
But other than that yes, this is true, it's a conditioning and also a survival instinct that has been used to get this understandidng going in the society (very clever in fact)...:)

The fact is that each man has it's own "Good" and "Evil"... But, there is nothing obvious in this life.

For example if a man kills another man, he will obviously have an excuse to do so... Normally, this is an evil deed but he will think it's good because he will have an excuse to do it. Does this mean he is good? I say it means that he thinks he is good.

What I want to say is that the fact that "good" and "evil" changes from men to men does not mean there is no "good" and "evil".

I think this is the core of who you are, a free spirit/mind , what you were born with...You have a sense of self. That is, as far as I see it, fantastic and positive, something that one should guard throughout life..Questioning everything, is the essence of finding out and wanting to be Enlightened. So, No you're not 'evil'...evil is still a word that I find hard to use ( makes me laugh) , as it is laced with magical thinking and that word has been used to control, manipulate and scare people for a long time...:)

Sin is restriction and evil equals energy wasted ... at least that's a short answer someone told me a while ago.

Both are two faces of the same coin. One would cease to exist if the other ceased to exist.

I would advise reading The Lucifer Effect by Philip George Zimbardo for a further explanation.

To me, what is commonly considered good and evil is merely an illusion. Buying into that illusion of duality is what can be considered as true evil, and allows mankind's self-destructive tendencies come into full bloom.
