I'm trying to gather together all the information I can find about hyperstitions, but the information is fairly sparse and redundant. Even the wikipedia article has been deleted. Can someone tell me who coined the term, and when?

I would also like to get my hands on a copy of the Lemurian Time Wars. I've only heard about it second hand but it doesn't seem to be on the internet any more. Not even in Google cache.

Wikipedia asked me if I meant "Lesbian Time Wars"...........

Thanks!

Would you say that hyperstitions imply a deliberately created fiction with magical intent, or that it refers more generically to the phenomena of self-fulfilling prophecy?
