Basically, I was wondering if there are any simple spells (no killing of animals etc) in order to attract lovers? Has anybody here used Finbarr spells for example?

I dont know any specifics , but this method works on a lot of things.
You could describe what you are looking for, writing it down, ( important to try to get the words just right). Because its something that is significant in human relations therefore there are powers that can govern watch and help. For this reason its possible that the right words will come to you and that will be more powerful.
meditate , while drawing a sigil to represent that type of energy in your life and then it becomes something you can use.

So i think you need to describe what you want, think you should have ! Whatever ie : personal qualities, when, where , type, looks etc then meditate/ concentrate on that while useing a power system to make your wish/ demand however you characterise it. Such as even candle magic. or a charged symbol.

I would do what teegee said and use corespondances of venus, and aphrodite,
as well as maybe apple or hibiscus, rose.

Examine what qualities you are looking for, and get involve in those activities in the community.

Do something to make yourself fell great and confident such as a goal or pampering session.

Also you dont need a partner to be somewhat sexually satisfied.....:o
