Hello folks!

I am here to learn more about Chaos magic. I find the main tenets "belief is a tool" and its anti-dogmatic leanings behind it very appealing.

Any advice on where to start and does any one else here know about any other forums about this subject besides this one?

Hello,I-S-O-N,and to answer your question, for me in part, tradition. One of every generation in my family is an occultist or mystic. The other part,It really feels right.I've had dreams in which it seems like the dead were trying to contact me,others where it seems like i could heard the "music of the spheres",so to speak. What about you?

For many reasons and all of them are due to life experiences and what subjects I often read about.

The older I get, the more convinced I become about psychic phenomena if only in certain areas. I certainly think the idea of intuition is entirely possible and wish to further develop this talent for I think I may have it. Now the one thing I am uncertain of is seeing the future in my dreams. My memory isn't the best, but I swear I have had one too many deja vu experiences. Are there magical means relating to time? There are some more subtle things I don't think there are words for but I have often noticed. The best explanation I can think of is how the world is explained in Buddhism or Hinduism.

I read a lot of psychology and I am beginning to see magic and spirituality as a means used to transform one self into a better and more moral being.
Since I have many objections to being held in just one belief system, I see Chaos magic as a means to be more spiritual and better myself that is more to my liking.

I also noticed there is many ideas magical and non that are claiming to be the best and everyone else is wrong. That is fanaticism and I have come to the conclusion fanaticism long ago is something to be avoided. The problem? The are very few, if any ideals out in the world that have anti-dogmatism (including atheism) as the ideal. Chaos magic is one of the few I have found.
So frankly I am looking to find like minded people.
