Hi I'm Chris, almost 46, gay male in the UK and I'm just about to start reading the Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey.
I have to say that what I've researched on the Internet has been extremely interesting in that I can identify or feel with what LaVey writes.
I'm a little confused though. LaVey says there is no deity/god yet I read on these forums, even LaVeyan that people see "Satan" as some higher external being so I need to clarify this. I've studied Paganism, Buddhism and the Quakers. What I've never been able to get my head round is the existence of a god, goddess, a higher power, heaven/hell. I believe we are our own god, our own devil and we make our lives heaven or hell right here and right now because when we're gone then that's it, there is nothing else.
Also I'm looking to make new friends and meet new people from all walks of life so if you're interested in getting to know me more then please message me.
