its a name given to a crystal that is rarely found here in macedonia. it has dark yellow color. i have learned that that kind of crystal can be artificialy created.
here it is the method.

get copper urn. fill it with sand found on river's shore. put it on a clear hill top ( preferably mountain top) high enough for that there is greater probability that place to be struck by lighting, also high enough for the air to be thinner with less substances in it as it could induce chemical reaction. the urn needs to be sealed. leave it be for quite some time. make sure to choose place that not many people go there for they can spoil the work by opening the urn or throwing away the content of it. it might take a while for that spot to be hit by lightning. as the story goes after it has been hit by lightning and certain conditions are met the sand will melt mixing with copper oxides and create a beautiful crystal, which is said to have the protective abilities of the most crystals used to make protective talismans combined together.

NOTE: i have never tried this method, most of u have never heard of it. but if u have the time and resources should try it and see if it works.

Couldn't we just do this in a lab?

Get a hermetically sealed copper vessel, fill it with sand, and hit it with the voltage and amp levels of lightning? Perhaps even affix a lightning rod on the copper sand pot?

gazeebo first u will need milions of dolars to get the equipement capable to reproduce the effects of lighting, tho i am not sure it is even achieved in any lab anywhere on earth.

I would fix the lightning rod to the copper pot. Lightning is unpredictable at best. At least that way you have some chance of getting results without lab equipment.

i dont know if that method is reliable. its just a folk-lore stuff. but i think it could have high possibility to success.

Growing crystals, whether it be mineral or something you have done with incense, can be a very rewarding experience. what better way to consecrate an alter of similar material than to grow crystals in a container connected to the other material, elements spiraling up geometrically in each facet, according to crystal structure. I have a book on this, and all crystals have a differant structure, with elemental geometry abounding.
i have a book on protein crystallization I accidently bought, it is still interesting but it details how to make crystals out of protein, not how to crystallize protein, like I thought. anyone contact me if you are interested in buying this book.
sigma-aldrich is a god source for advanced research textbooks and chemicals. I have always wanted to make layered mineral electrolysis jars layered with all differant chemicals, and set these, plugged in to the wall, in indoor plants, and geological altars. electrobotany is one thing and this might refine it a bit.
I am actualy in the process of establishing an esoteric spiritual order that includes many earth projects like this above described with an ultimate goal of a magnetic grid and a supreme commander (I will never live to see this, as the founder).
I wonder how many local minerals can be crystallized. like if you could take stone and make crystal out of it with a chemical wash and a crystallization. My friend works at a concrete quarry and although he has brought me crystal before, I always tell him to let me know if they find anything (quarry is in old gold and silver mining area) to let me know because I want to sell it to witches before his boss does something with it. it would be cool to make a treatment plant that turns all their concrete rock mix to crystal that would vary in appearance according to the rock from which it was taken. any ideas?

yeah, I looked at their site. its really classic stuff. i like that. Never seen a real alembic before. that is a great site. i had a still for awhile, but could only make watery essences. I need to get another. The electronics section is very good and now I realize I need to learn more about evp to use in my music.
I also noticed that there are alcohol brew kits. I have a family mermber who is brewer for many microbrewpubs around new york and I have always wanted to make a pack of astrology beer with all the planets and everything.
i just need help organizing it on the herbal end over there and he can brew and bottle it. he has done much craft brewing and brought back an old beer recepie from the 1800's. i have talked with Harry from alchemy works and I probably want to get him to supply the herbs.
does anyone want to help design the recepies for this?
I don't know if alcohol is differant territory than incense, but just to make it all synergize right and the proportions...anyone up for it?

Its more of a question of what would complement the alcohol, especially in combination. I just wouldn't know what ones would complement the alcohol

I really should start brewing myself a bit to get this started. the proportions and synergy is my primary concern I've got the plant/planet correspondances down...any thoughts on the proportions?
I guess chartruse has like 130 differant alpine herbs from around france in it. so I guess it does not matter the herbal content but I also wonder any good planetary blends, things supplementary to scott cunningham and this druid book I have. what you guys think should go in a proper planet that is going to be made of alcohol. would myrrh for example be a good thing to put in alcohol?

Are there any books on crystals that you would recommend to get started? Also i have a small crystal made of chinese flourite that has partially broken. Is there a way to heal it?

Ummm. ever heard of a tesla coil? Given enough wire, and the schematics, it wouldn't be too awful hard to produce one.

tesla coils are extremely easy to make, in my early years i would make using goofy stuff like 40oz bottles and the like, you need a potent capacitor to reproduce effects akin to lightning, but its possible. at any rate, i think it would be easier to run a current through the copper vessel or even try just heating it, as heat is often enough to produce chemical reactions. you could even use a chemical reaction to heat it, as by definition, chemical reaction produce heat. who knows, the variable could be an interesting weekend to entertain.
