Hi there, I finally found a forum that is filled with topics of my new found interests! :D
Actually, some recent life changes made me decide to walk in the path of Satanism. It was a personal initiation on my part after a certain period of contemplation. My life has been different since. This is just the beginning for me...
Anyway, glad to be here and hope to be able to exchange ideas and philosophies.

Welcome dear. I am getting into that path as of recently myself. But so far, it has been mostly research. Although I have learned quite a bit, I have made no formal dedications as of yet. Feel free to join The Dark Side, it's a group I made dedicated to those interested in the taboo portions of the occult. And if I may ask, everyone talks about things being 'so different' after they dedicate themselves...what have your experiences been? I'd love to know :)

Welcome.
Always remember, that to bow down to the Prince of Darkness is a blasphemy unto Him. Considering he gave us Free-Will, just as he fought for his own. To bow down on one knee is a sign of respect, however.

Thanks for your welcome. I will check out The Dark Side. :)
Regarding your question, the only difference I have experienced after deciding to walk the path of Satanism is that Satan empowers me. The main reason why I gave up christianity and turned to the Satanic philosophy is because of power, and the desire to satisfy my ego, putting myself first before others. For my case, my experience of feeling "different" seems to me that I have never felt so confident like before, when I used to doubt my own abilities. Satan opened my eyes by revealing to me my own potentials, what I should be doing and should not not be doing, unlike god whom I used to pray to and beg for answers that I never get. I have learned to take action and be responsible for myself.

I'm glad your experiences have been rewarding. Personally, I feel that strong confidence is one of the best things to have. It opens up so many other seemingly unrelated doors.
I was borderline christian at various points in my life, luckily none too recently. I feel that christianity and other organized religions use fear to control and enslave those who are just confused about their existence. Satanism denounces fear and puts the control in the hands of the self. With that portion alone, I am smitten. :P
Anyways, pleasure to virtually 'meet' you. I wish you an enriching journey!
