I'm a recent convert to LaVeyan Satanism, and I don't bow before some mystical deity and kill nonbelievers. I'm rational, and logical, and I converted because LaVey had some truly great opinions and put them into a psuedo religion with no god or deity outside our own intellects. I'm an atheist, and I still love LaVey's philosophy, and the various pagan holidays. For me, the only power is us, as LaVey said, and I embrace all the traits that make me human, without shame or remorse.
