How does this relate to Chaotes?

If you are familiar with, "You Know You Are A Chaote When..." then you have read #20 - Shopping for presents becomes so much easier, as you decide to buy random things, mix them up randomly, and leave them lying around for the first person who finds them.

I realize this whole thing is meant to be funny, but I understand the whole list except for this one. Can someone please explain the meaning of this related to chaos magick?

I think it relates to the very randomised approach chaotes take towards- well, everything. Rather than concentrating on formal correspondences (buying specific presents for specific people), they'll grab whatever's around and see what happens (leaving the randomly grabbed presents around for whoever turns up).
