So a little background on me first. I grew up in a very strict, very traditional Christian home and so when my interest in the occult began growing (and weird things started happening) I had to hide my studies. Even now my living situation doesn't support more dedicated and visible activities though I do have more privacy.

Because of the circumstances where I started learning I'm great at non-visible activities. I can raise a shield, any kind of shield, with a tiny effort of will and moving my own energy through and around my body is effortless.

Unfortunately I'm sorta stuck. I've read different things here and there and have my own views and ideology on how the world and the spirits work. I have my own rules and guidelines for what's acceptable and I've experimented a little bit. I still feel like I'm not getting anywhere.

I've done a few rituals that were moderately "successful" in that things happened but I'm not sure how in control I was with them. What do you think I should take as a next step in trying to learn about what I'm doing?

We have much in common Candelarius!
I have not done anything in a while but my servitor keeps me busy :D

Im not really sure what you could do next
I guess you have tried making sigils ...
If you are really good at sigils you can attempt to create a servitor if you have not already ... (It is recommended to have mastered sigils before creating a servitor i have heard)

Maybe you have some failed experiments and such that you can try again in a different way?

Well, what are you interested in?

what are you learning?

Well I've always had an interested shamanism, totems, and gaining knowledge (in the general sense of understanding the unknown). I'm not really interested in talking to or having anything to do with any external spirits, everything I do is internal or using only the tools I've got within me.

I haven't really done much looking in a long time but I found an old notebook I used to write stuff down in and it made me want to get back into it again.
