Just wanted to introduce myself - looking for like minded witches etc

I use the term witch here loosely, as I do not practice Wicca. I have about 2 years of general practice under my belt, which is not a lot, but I do daily rituals and study reading materials. I am in the middle of a magic course as well. I am a woman and a mother that has recently passed through her first Saturn return.

I feel like I have hit a glass ceiling in my practice. I wonder if I need a group to go further, or maybe just the support of an entity/god on my side. I get frustrated because some of the things I regularly see in my meditation, I have not found in the textbooks I have read(and I have searched and keep searching).

What I do in meditation is similar to what I read about shamans, but how to go further? Are any of you initiated, or do most of you have covens? Nice to meet you all.

I don't know what all the terms are supposed to mean. Left hand path? So a regular witch doesn't fall under that? I think of witch as a general term that can describe anyone that practices any form of magic, but maybe I am mistaken.

Hi, I do classify myself as a witch. That or a sorcerer, as they make up the foundation of my magick. I am what you'd call a wiccan spiritually, but my magick varies. I'm self initiated, and that's good enough for me. What's troubling you.

Did you read what I wrote? I am not a Wiccan and haven't really classified myself as anything other than a general practitioner.


I like astral traveling, third eye reading, and using tarot, runes and about to learn throwing bones. I use conjure heavily and have no qualms about summoning entities with a purpose or petitioning spirits of the dead. I see most magick as grey magic and I practice it all from protective to retaliation.

I would really like to compare notes with others that can see inside of people - what kinds of things do you see? I think PMs would be better for that, so PM me if you'd like to share your experiences.

Finding "like minded" people in the occult world is a rare thing, in my experience. There are plenty of people whom I have admired and agreed with from time to time but I don't think I've ever met someone I could describe as like minded.

Agreed Dajai. I have never met anyone who is truly like minded to me, and probably never will. But that's OK. Were all individuals!
