Seriously, occult shortcuts...

Ok, so.....

ive dabbled in this and that,

tried the lbrp, mp, etc, for months at a time.....minimal results.
So far the quickest method to spiritual result has been simply direct conversation with god.
And, really, thats suits me fine. The less candles, incense, and ballet involved, the better, as far as i'm concerned. But i still want as much wisdom and power as I can get....naturally.

MOst occultists are quite rigid about ritual dedication, practice, will, study etc.
I would like to avoid as much of this as possible while still getting impressive results. I know it can be done and i know people who have done it.

This mainly involved self awarness, intuition, and the aid of potent doses of psychadelics, and also location. I know that if i take alot of psychadelics and go to a location that is spiritually powerful, i dont need to dance around lighting candles for months on end to achieve a strong degree of spiritual power and awarness. I dont think I should feel guilty or illigitimate about this way of aquiring a spiritual gnosis. I think its kind of funny actually how rigid alot of the lhp practitioners, thelemites, etc, are about being very tedius and precise with their practice, yet how they also talk about "grey magic" and moral ambiguity and stuff like that. WHat I am interested in is achieving the most spiritul power and discernment possible in the least amount of time with the least amount of RITUAL. What drugs should i take, where should i go, what and who should i pray for and to... what should i prepare for. Screw religion. screw tradition. screw the current trends in occultism. Screw the unspoken rules. Lets just be honest here and talk about whats quickest and easiest and what works, atleast from individual experience. This isnt an attack on anyone else's practice or belief, its just my own desire to save time and energy and get to the desired state. I thinks its a pretty usefull question in general. All suggestions and comments are welcomed.

It's like saying we shouldnt brush our teeth or shave because there's much bigger things for us to do like cook.

The thing to take to all this as well is if you can retain, comprehend and use whatever you may be able to 'obtain'; whether your consciousness is capable of doing so and actually keeping up, not to mention your fleshy shell.

Furthermore, in such a case that something is 'gotten'... will you with the mindset of an 'everyday person' be able continue with such a thing?

there are shortcuts, its called doing it your own way....

this is actually much more difficult than doing some prescribed bull outta a Golden Dawn book, however when you figure it out on your own your much closer to spiritual enlightenment than OTO members who gossip about "whos following their true will" and what not.

so in that way yes there is a shortcut.

read everything you can about magick and the occult from traditional witchcraft to Phil Hine. pick and choose what you like and go from there.

The biggest shortcut that I know of is to make allot of good friends, in every sphere that you can reach. Then if you all work together you can get more done, kindof like 20 people building a house instead of just one.

I think ive pretty much read, or atleast skimmed everything from a to z.
It just always seems like my attainments never really match up with whatever system im studying. It seems more to do with fate or with chance or people that come into my life that i learn from in some way or have experiences with.
So aside from choosing the right folks or the right drugs or place or stumbling upon something intuitively its been hard to bottle the stuff.
Oddly the most mystical stuff started happening when i became very close with a christian friend and began studying along those lines. Thats when things began manifesting very quickly and i gained experiance with angels and demons on a pretty frequent basis. It wasnt really the path I had envisioned but it was welcomed in that it was effective. The problem here i think, hypothetically, is how that system would mix with others...might be a strange dance.

Someone also mentioned the power in groups and ive certainly experianced that to be true. And if aids like that can incite a new experience and a new point of view or revelation, i think that can be very valuable. But I certainly see the point being self-efficient where this sort of stuff is concerened.

Anyway, even in the most accomplished occultists there must be signifigant, non-ritual experiences stumbled upon that led to greater power and wisdom spiritually. SO I think its natural to want to find out the what and why of that, and how it could be useful or applied.
