Ello Occult Forums,

I'm not exactly a new user, but I was inactive for awhile, and had to make a new account, so here I am.

I am mostly interested in Magickal Theory, as well as meta-magickal systems, similarity of energy matrixes in humans and other spiritual beings, as well as studying how ancient magicks relate to us today. I am particularly interested in the power of belief, and how the human unconscious forms thoughtforms, and even egregores left unchecked. My most recent research is on the collective unconscious and how it empowers certain individuals, while leaving others with little power, as well as if magick is heritable.

I consider myself more a scholar rather than a practitioner of the magickal arts, and although I have used magick extensively in the past, I don't have as much time as I used to to devote to it due to my personal life.

I am an undergraduate, studying to be a clinical psychologist eventually, and I hope to (one day) open an orphanage.

I like playing guild wars, and enjoy all types of things relating to Star Wars, a bit nerdy, I know, but there are some fascinating philosophical truths within the series as well as the extended universe. For instance, for any of you left-hand pathers, check out Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, by Drew Karpyshn, one of my favorite books.

Just a quick question:

What is the "School of Magick" section of the forum, why is it private, and is there any way I can be involved with it?

Also, I noticed that you are, from a legal standpoint, unable to host a section on blood magick. I am interested in learning about it, can you suggest a place that I can read up on it, whether it be another website, or perhaps via email from one of the admins or mods? Or even another member?

Just wondering, and I understand if you are unable to talk about it, but I am very curious (and I am over 18, as my introduction states I am in college).

The school is private as we can not let anyone who is not in it view it as the courses can be stolen, long story. Contact redhand, he runs the school. The school is 4.99 a month. We hope to have necromancian and medieval magick soon as courses. Blood magick, well one of the forums who hosted was closed down. Hmmm. You might be able to google info on it, or go to Alibris or Amazon and see if they have any books on it. I know the info is out there, you just have to research a bit. I hope this is of some help.

Alas, it saddens me, but I am indeed a poor college student.
Oh well.

As for the other, believe me, I understand the dangers associated (legally and spiritually) with teaching certain practices haha. I will attempt to study it on my own, and will keep as much of my findings off this site as possible as a courtesy.

Would you mind telling me a bit about yourself, Lady D? I have read many of your posts and you seem extremely well-read, with much experience in things arcane.
I noticed you don't have bios for your administration and moderators, you may want to consider it, in case you have some idiot wanting to question your authority, as well as reassuring new members that the leaders of this site know what they are doing.
