What do you say? What's the craziest thing that happened because of a missfired spell?

One time I created a runic sigiltor charged with sexual energy to cause a snow day. The result was the biggest blizzard this state had seen in quite some time. Garages collapsed, cars were buried with people inside, and most of the staff at the hospital ward I was in either could not come to work or could not leave work for a day or two. Then after I left the hospital I noticed something about the bind rune that seemed to translate as a self replication mechanism. I felt the being's presence and that it was about to begin multiplying uncontrollably, and could feel it using me for this. I did something about it, I forgot what, and it worked.

I friend of mine had just broken up with a boyfriend, and she commiserated with a couple of us who knew some magic. That is to say, we had the skill to cast the spell, but not the experience or wisdom to choose not to. Well, we decided that we would take some of her feelings of depression on the theory that A) grief shared was grief divided and B) having no personal stake in the relationship beyond our friendship with the girl meant the emotions would not cling to us as tightly. It worked, of course. The spell of empathy broke through the girl's depression and cheered her up noticeably. One problem. The girl was in a wheelchair and neither me nor my accomplice could walk until the spell started to fade about 20 min later.

A good magician never reveals how a trick is done.
An evil magician never leaves any evidence that there was a trick in the first place.
