Thread: Sigils not working

I have tried working with sigils but unfortunately to no avail. Methods that I have used to charge the sigil are masturbation & deathposture. I am wondering where I am going wrong. I am following everything as per AOS how to make sigils. I am not thinking about the desire after charging the sigil etc etc. Also, I have been trying siigils which should take really less time to manifest & do not put a strain on the universe. Here r a few sigils that I have been trying - onh n please dont mind the wish, i just love the thought of experriencing hell.

It is my will to visit hell in my dreams
It is my wish to experience eternal suffering in my dreams
It is my will to have visions of my past life in my dreams

None of them worked. Anyway I have also started meditating seriously, maybe that will help. Maybe i shud look for new mothds or keep the sigils at a place where i unconsciously see them daily.

Sigils are good for wishes, but those are things that will take more than wishes. If you want enlightenment in you dreams or just interesting dreams, I have a rune for that in my "runes of darkness" post.

Wait a min... you say your not thinking about the sigils afterwards then posting the intents of the sigils on a forum?

^ oh and VIRAL I thought boiling tobbaco was poison, I maybe wrong just what I thought :P

I tried my first sigil last night facilitating meditation. I realise how stupid the one I made was as I wanted to wake up just before my alarm went off, however I woke up around 10 times last night with the thought of my alarm about to go off.

Sigils don't work for everyone but remember, they are just a tool in the toolbox of "magic".

If you don't enjoy reading history books, should you just stop reading? No! You read something that resonates with you and still gets you what you want.

But, for your benefit, here do this.

Make you little squiggly drawing that embodies your will.

You have to let it go. If we didn't, every half-assed day dream we had would be happening and every fear we dwelled on would have killed us.

You should just try something else I think. Until you get vacuity down and learn to forget and relax into your magical confidence. Try planting your sigil in the ground and watering it with something that you think is appropriate. Gatorade, water, your blood, whatever.

But please don't fall into the trap that the rest of us have. This is where we get really boring and make the universe get us money or entry into the hallowed pants of that hot chick down the road. Don't limit yourself please.

Sigils have always worked for me, but remember that you're working with the subconscious and sometimes it has very different desires than you might consciously have. I'd imagine your subconscious doesn't want to experience eternal suffering, and what if eternity just doesn't exist. I mean, I've experienced some very unreal things...and know these things to be nothing more than the working of the imagination.

Also, as someone already said...you're not forgetting your desires. You posted them. A good way to forget is just make tons of sigils over a period of time and charge a random one every day, every other day, every week...whatever.

Instead of poisoning yourself with tobacco, you might try less innocuous herbs that relax the conscious mind such as lavender, valerian, hops, and mugwort. In combination, a tisane of seemingly inoffensive herbs such as these can have surprising effects.

Sometimes personal sigals do not manifest , we have to realize chaos magick does not work for everyone, the suit sometimes does not fit.

Sigil work is not Chaos Magick.
