Then I suppose, if we are saying that everything is literal.
Then I must have devoured Satan, which would in reality be this magician. Even though I more or less increased my Understanding and grew in power.
Those who Fall will find their Heaven
    and will always be adored.

Kyprianos actually did live in the 3rd Century - Not a myth. Apparently he was a very high Magician / Priest, but saw that there was another much more powerful power that empowered him over dark / demonic beings.
A former satanist / witch became a christian saint with the infinite power of God.

Spiritual Christianity, not the faith healer garbage you see on Television, but the spiritual foundation of Christianity (Orthodox Christianity) found in Monastic communities - THATS WHERE THE REAL POWER IS : God and his Holy Angels.

I saw the deformity known as satan in hell. I was placed there to denounce him to his deformed face. He was forced to look at me, against his will. Why? A change occurred in my life and with constant prayers to the King of Heaven and Earth, Jesus, Christ allowed me to make that dramatic statement to satan directly.

I know what Im talking about. Instead of allowing him to subject you to his will. YOU CAN have power to not only inherit God's kingdom which he freely seeks to give to you, but "can tred on the enemy of humanity" and the father of all lies: the devil.

I welcome your comments and feedback for a deeper converstation.

This subject is utterly fascinating ... Kyprianos' story of being raised in the old ways of Greek society... it's like a fairy tale!

I have to admit though, there's an irony with the exaggeration of 'power' being used in conjunction with the power of God, Christ, Light, what have you...

It's hard to imagine that 'treading on the enemy of man'... essentially as if 'combating' Lucifer is a successful approach.

I always had this crazy notion that the light of higher realms will always embrace Lucifer... if only he... would allow it.
In a direct conflict darkness will *always* overcome light -- therefore conflict cannot happen.

Lucifer, the most beautiful of all the angels... you'd never think he'd live a day in darkness... haha... amazing... a brother of Christ!

Kyprianos was an intelligent man... no doubt he was probably a Da Vinci of his day, and a clever sorcerer.

Fascinating that the church would canonize a man who used Christianity as a forms of manipulation in a sense.... interesting thread!

Please do link me to anything that states this is not a myth because I can't find anything on this person other than his story is from the Church Heroes Series, St. Mark's COC, Boston which would make him fiction.

    Capt,

Interesting.. but Lucifer just didnt appear out of thin air? Someone or Something created him? That Creator is the true and highest form of Power in all of physical and spiritual creation. The created being can never be greater than his creator ( in this case God ). I think you derive your association of power from an earthly definition, or from the movies, etc... In reality ultimate power is meek, humble eternal. Christ didnt care one iota about his earthly death, but about the spiritual victory he was about to achieve.
satan is a dying spirit and it will eventually (according to revelation - be eternally destroyed). Look where he used to be and where he is? The trend is not good for him - and it gets worse from here. Associating with that liar will pull many along with him.

You're right...Lucifer, was one of the most beautiful angelic beings when he was in heaven. He has fallen from Heaven.. He treads on the earth looking to snare human souls. Look at him now? Have you ever seen him? I assure you - I HAVE ! He is deformed beyond belief - no hollywood movie can even come close. The point here is that he did it to himself. As Christ said " He was a murderer from the beginging and the father of all lies ".

Kyprianos was a high priest / warlock who saw the weaknesses of magic. He had never had anything to compare it to, until he came face to face with a power greater than his. That made him understand, that no power in the universe is greater than God's. He rejected the weaker power found in magic and embraced God wholeheartedly. Do the same.

You are just preaching the same thing over and over again. Why don't you move this topic to the "should we respect christianity?" thread. I have no respect for what you are trying achieve in this forum thus far. It sounds like the same old bs that has enslaved the masses for centuries. Enough of the broken record. I will not bury my head in the sand like christians want me to. You say lucifer is dying. I disagree. There is a mass awakening happening throughout the world right now. I have not insulted your belief system. If it works for you, so be it. I strongly advise you to not insult my beliefs again. I would explain them to you, but I think that it wouldn't help matters. You seem to have no input. Just an output of myth that you take literally. There is truth within every lie, but I have yet to have a fruitfull debate on this with a self righteous do-gooder like how you are portraying yourself to be. Whatever delusion you saw Lucifer as is exactly how you wanted to see him.

    Go AhronGaze!

I have to say, this is probably about a guy who has gained mastery over his sub-conscious or his dark/animal side through the christian conversion. If one was to speak about the bible and how this is relevant to any ''christian'' truth, it would have to be that Satan is conquered by God in the end when the Second Coming occurs and the apocalypse starts. Haven't you read revelations?
    It IS a fairy tale.

I think it is interesting also how you simultaneously grouped paganism and satanism together when satanism focuses on the self and paganism focuses on nature and submission to the forces of nature.

Again, not looking to cause an affront anyone, nor preach (which I am not) just To see the spiritual realm for what it is ( through God's infinite power ), first have the desire to see it from he who created the oceans, mountains, creatures both spiritual and physical.. then silently ask him to help you understand the mysteries of creation, of the true power of the universe.

I was raised pagan from my teen years. Im almost 50 years old now. I dabbled in black arts as well. I can tell you that when I urgently desired to know the highest power in creation, I was led to an Orthodox Christian Monastery ( At the time I was neither Christian nor Orthodox) and there I found during the services black robed monks chanting within a dark church illuminated with red lit candles under a lifesize crucifix of Christ's body also illuminated by three candles.
At the time I really didnt know the etiquette, so I just sat in the stall and watched. There was no music, no entertaining "pastor" just the solemnity of worship of God, smelling incense and hearing the jingles of the incensor as the priest swayed it back and forth.

After the service, I was approached by the elder of the monks who asked me if I was here for the first time. I replied that I was, but that I was not christian, but was seeking the truth about the infinite and highest form of power in the universe. At that moment he took me to the side and pointed to an image of Christ and said... knock and urgently seek it in your soul and he will show you and always pray silently to Christ. All this seemed surreal to me watching an 80 year old monk who's eyes glistened from the nearby candles. He also told me to say the Jesus prayer while focused on nothing but the words. After he asked what my faith was, I told him I was a Druid pagan, he smiled even more warmly and told me about Kyprianos. He said that he and I had the same background.

At first, I found the prayer to Christ somewhat difficult as I could not focus my mind, but eventually I was able to say the words to him " Please, if you are God, the infinite and all mighty, please show me the way". Several weeks later, I felt compelled to study the New Testament words of Christ, but wasnt sure. About 3 months later, inside of my soul, I felt like my past was a waste... a hunt for powers that were miniscule for what I was looking for. It was soon after.. that I saw satan in a defeated, and very disgusting look. He looked like his skin was made of brown tar, eyes bulging at the corners of his eye sockets forced to look at me. He had very large horns coming out from his nipple area. He was forced to look at me tell him " I renounce you satan, you and your pomps and all you powers"...

Friends, I am not wishing anything but good for you. I'm only explaining what I went through, since I have had the same background as many of you.
Please do not take this as an affront on you or your beliefs... only stating what I have gone through.

My apologies if I've offended Ahrongaze as that was never my intention. I was only stating my opinion in showing the TREND of where lucifer used to be and where he is now... and where he is headed to. That's all.

You can believe in all the hype of satan's "power" but I will tell you as a former dabbler in black arts, I wil not accept any description of the devil as less than "defeated". His "power" in this world is limited, yes he has can manipulate and "perform" to those who try and beckon him, he uses that "power" to obtain unknowing people's admiration and worship? For what? It's like getting on a train that you know is going to crash a few miles down the track.

devakxes - I know you distinguish between satanism and paganism and I can tell you that in the spiritual realm, before the infinite God's eyes, both are tainted as hideous arts. So, yes I have grouped them together. It's irrelevant whether you worship the self or the forces extracted from nature.

    respectfully,
    Kyprianos
