    Default Trinitite

I acquired a piece of Trinitite and I was wondering if it could be utilized in crystal magick like any other stone? Does anyone know of any correspondences for this "stone"?

Well they do consider it to be a quartz variety, so maybe that would work too.

I wonder if one could use it to draw upon the power and energy of it's creation.

Be careful with it, trinitite can be psychicly dangerous. I heard a story about someone who brought a trinitite to the Etheracon conference and didn't tell people what it was. Someone tried to read it psychometrally and suffered a vision of the Hiroshima bombing.

For those who haven't realized what Trinitite is, it's a special type of artificial desert glass. Name of the stone is derived from the event that created it... Trinity, the first Nuclear Bomb test, which was in New Mexico.

It's the site where "I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." was uttered by J. Robert Oppenheimer.

Wikipedeia is our friend: "A number of different types of Trinitite have been identified. Green is the most common form. Black contains iron from the tower structure. Red contains copper from the 'gadget' itself or from the communications cables that led away from the site. Rounded pearls are also found which come from melted silica that returned to solid form before hitting the ground."

Let us know what effects and properties to expect from this stuff, as there is a strong possibilaty of Trinitie becoming very (very) common.

    oh, and i found this:

"In the center of the room sits Robleto's A Color God Never Made, a walnut alter/dresser/plinth upon which a jewelry box is set that holds, among other things, a small mirror and a pair of military issued glass eyes for wounded soldiers coated with ground trinitite."

Uhm, yes, that is what i want closest to my brain. Curious.

well there is no correspondance, as it was manmade and not created by nature. I'm sure nuclear material has some kind of correspondance but you may have to look at chemical composition of minerals/crystals and then try to figure out where everything fits on the periodic table, and even if a certain type of mineral crystal is responsible for nuclear, or elenment/elemental combination even. since it is white sand fused as green glass it is close to being uranium. I have a nice chunk of uranium and some trininite somewhere and in fact I burn all my coal in one of those 30's uranium depression glass dessert dishes (the color of mountain dew) and the coal goes in the dish on a cube of pyrite. there is a yearly exposure limit to radioactivity and if you eat a bit of radioactive stuf, it may never leave your system, so never eat anything too strong that could ever expose you past the limit, and keeping in mind you still may touch radioactive material.
my uranium marble can make my hands ache after holding it as if i had arthritis, and the charge effect radiation puts on something is one of grounding, but to a painful negative current, not the freeghost grounding current, more like a painful bruise. do not get this anywhere anything you have charged. it is like an empty place in existance and radioactivity slips us as an induction, to a more ancient isopod of existance, one of the dinosaurs. dinosaurs were nothing more than chlorophyll basd insect plant parasites, and all plant geometry is caused by insect parasitism.
