    Default The Vajra

Some time ago, I wrote a term paper on the Tibetan Dorj, also known as the Hindu Vajra, and noticed some connections to the Mjolnir of Norse mythology. After extensive study on the subject, and looking at the designs of the acompanying Bell, it appeared to represent something directly connected to Sacred Geometry.

For example, the Bell when compared with the Vajra itself,

forms a circle at the rim of the bell, expanding a one dimensional linear path into a two dimensional ring, presumably like a three dimensional cone. The Mythology of the Vajra relates it as a lightning weapon, or THE lightning bolt of Indra. In Tibetan mythology, this is the same device used by Padmasambhava to quell the demons of the mountains.

    The layout of the vajra

itself clearly indicates a linear effect, possibly functioning as some sort of advanced harmonic, piezoelectric, or light transmission mechanism. While I haven't yet been able to draw absolute conclusions, it seems plausable the object was either a mechanical, spiritual, or hybrid amplifier, perhaps a resonance device.

More peculiar is the Spinal Column relationship to the origin of Indra's device, and how the spinal column is related to Shaktiput, and uncoiling the Kundalini.

I would put forward this device merits more genuine investigation, than as merely a ceremonial trinket of psychedelic symbolism, and should be treated with similar utilitarian/mechanical inquiry to the Ark of the Covenant.

Fascinating. So the vajra bell would be manifested force as opposed to the potential force of the vajra alone? Interesting link with Mjolnir too, will have to get my study head on later and investigate these things. Never seen the crystal vajre pic before, this makes me think more on your point of resonance and amplification, and ties in with the theory of activating certain shaped crystals with specific sound vibrations, and also the mantra sequence along the spine. Much research to be doing me now, Thanks for posting this.

I don't know they might just be something to quell energy storms, they seem to come out, in my minds eye at least, yes at a time that everything comes to peace and a clearer image is made.
they definitly have some kind of resonance, but just by looking at them you can kind of guess how they work

I think I saw the Jade ones as well. My professor was furious though when I pointed out the western Royal Crown (our school's logo) drew it's influence from the Vajra.

notice the braching supports that mount to a sphere?

Now what's really interesting about this is the alignment of a crown on the head, in comparison with the central spire of the individual personal universe, such as the one mentioned in sacred geometry circles. There's a lot of research that indicates when a crystal vibrates, it generates not only a resonance, but may also generate radiation or even visible light. I concluded some time ago the construction and description of the Ark of the covenant had amazingly similar effects to the Brahma-Astra, and noticed the articles claiming to be the writing on the side of the Ark looked more like a circuit board for wave=anti-wave annihilation. While that's getting a little off topic, the mythos behind the Mjolnir and the Dorje/Vajra seems to be amazingly well tied together, and I think the exploration of the Mjolnir could provide additional pieces of the puzzle. From what I've seen, the norse device is associated with striking, pulverizing, and lightning, and looks very little like an actual hammer.
In fact, it seems to be closer in shape to the open crown Vajra. Ironically, you might want to check this thing out since axes and hammers are so often related.
