    Default Hello

Hello, I am BalanceDragon, new to this site. I have been around the block a few times and have been studying magic and the occult since 1974. I have met a lot of people over that time and have experienced a lot of things both as a witness and a practitioner. Learning is a process that never stops, and is not debased by titles or a sense of being above anyone no matter what level of learning they are on. I enjoy the topic of magic, occult sciences, witchcraft, paganism and the shaman practices together with their historical links in the past as well as journies into the present.

I do prefer the older ways, as I personally get more out of them. There is a discipline to them not found in modern processes, and the results are not only more potent, but outlast other methods as well. I have made lost distance travels for my research, and have studied books found only in museum libraries, and it is this knowledge that drives me to dig even further. I hope to find others here that share in the hunger for knowledge and the wisdom found in it.

Default You sound like the type of person that would enjoy my library.

If you prefer the older ways, you should check out my free online occult library, "The Hidden Universe" at Occult Library - thehiddenuniverse.com. I have several books on occultism most of which are in the range of roughly one hundred years old. Because of their age, these books are in the public domain which is why I am able to freely display them in their entirety.

Yes, I do prefer the older ways. They're more direct.
Thanks. I have lots I am trying to get through now. I was blessed with having freinds with contacts, and have gotten some pdf's of grimoires that have never been published. The oldest is from the 1400's, which makes it hard to read. There are some from Germany that must be translated, but they are very difficult as the germanschange their language somewhat every 40 years or so. Some of the or terms used words no longer exist. Thaks for the link. Will check it out.

Went to that site, already have those books, besides, the ones they have there are in html format. Go for the pdf formats. They're easier to print, read, and copy. There are plenty of sites that have them. Just put the titles you're looking for in the search field (in a search engine like Google) and follow it with a .pdf, and it will come up.

I break books up into several html pages because it uses less of my monthly bandwidth allotment to have people only accessing a chapter at a time rather than a whole book all at once and also it gives the site a better rank in the search engines. I do have more books that I will be adding, although it is a slow process, so from time to time you might want to take a peek and see what's new on the site. Who knows, I might add something you don't have yet. The site is still very new and under construction and in addition to the library there is a forum, video section, and free cyber fortune teller thrown in just for fun.

I would rather have the pdf files, so I don't have to rely on bandwidth, or even worry about traffic slowing the site down Dwonload the pdf and read it later whenever you like.
