Default Greetings, from the Western Rim of the Known Universe

    Greetings

Here on the Western Rim of the Universe (in mundane parlance British Columbia, Canada, and at times, Jalisco, Mexico) where a calm peaceful landscape overlays scarce-hidden, writhing geological energies, I probe the mysteries of - in the words of the most profound and honoured philosopher - Life, the Universe and Everything, in quest of arcane knowledge. The Holy Grail (which, some sources say, made a secret Transatlantic voyage a millennium ago), the Philosopher's Stone - and many are of the opinion that the Grail and the Stone are one and the same - the Hidden Dimensions and the Inner Planes; so-called "skeptics" deny their very existence, and starry-eyed "believers" accept all uncritically, but here, can it be, I am among those of like mind? Only time will tell.

In the meantime, I will say only this; that the Mutant, whoever or whatever he or she may be, must be tested severely before being allowed to remake the world in its own image.

On all five points of the Pentagram, farewell - for now.

    Greetings,

The Grail as the Cup that Does Not Wish to be Found is a strange notion, but a plausible one, to be sure. But was the Grail, the "San Greal" of the Troubadours, the same as the "Sang Real", or Royal (not "Holy") Blood? Messrs. Baigent, Leigh and Lincoln were not the only, or even the first, ones to think so. This is an example of the "Green Language" of the sage Fulcanelli, the Phonetic Cabala wherein one word can have many meanings.

But if one goes back to the poet Wolfram von Eschenbach, who, it is said, heard the story from the troubadour Guyot de Provins, probably in the city of Arles on the occasion of the Coronation of King Frederick I, known as Barbarossa, or Redbeard, in 1178c.e., the Grail was the "Lapsit Exillis", the Stone that fell from heaven. But here, also, we note yet more Green Language, because "Lapsit" does not mean "Stone". The correct Latin word for Stone would be "Lapis". If the word "Lapsit" means anything, it means a Lapse, a Gap, something "excised",or omitted. The Grail, even almost a millennium ago, truly did not wish to be found...... Thus do we find that the Grail, the "Lapsit Exillis", is of the same nature as the "Stone that was rejected by the builders, but that became the Head of the Corner"?

And the Philosopher's Stone.... no less an authority than Nicholas Roerich, explorer and mystic, held that the Grail and the Stone were one and the same - that for which one searches one's whole life, but in the full awareness that it may never be found - or may not even exist at all.

Indeed do many strange things come to pass, and stranger yet than these. But to seek, and never find, is better than never to seek at all.

    You scoff, Belasko.

Neither your scoffing nor your hatred is of any interest to me. Role player, you say? We all play roles, consciously or unconsciously. And your role is - resident psycho.

I know of no Reve, whoever he or she may be.

Mrs. Peel, I amuse you, do I? That's good. This poor sad world needs more amusement. And, the amusement is mutual.
