    Well I have both on my computer: that is 3 partitions: Winblows, Linux and Data where I store everything - I use Win for some games like Baldur's Gate, Starcraft or UT --- only reason why I still use it is because I know it and I've been using it from my first contact with the computer and everything that I messed up I could fix - if nothing else, I can format the partition and reinstall it --- Linux I don't know and if something goes wrong, I wouldn't know what to do - I wouldn't even know how to format and reinstall --- yeah I'm true beginner. But! I'm downloading some manuals and finding those lists of commands for console so I'll start digging all over Linux soon :devil:

    Thx for your offer! Most likely I'll have to bug you from time to time since I'm trying to navigate through it - as far as compiling or working with console goes, I'm on 0 points :/ but I'll learn - I need just one time to compile something by myself and I'll know, but the person that installed it to me and did some compiling went through it without explanations or pointers (he just said: see, that's it. it's easy.) so I didn't learn or understand a thing :/.

    Ahhh Compiz - I saw it, yes, and drooled over it hahaha but I have a problem: my 3D drivers are not working (I got this laptop with Vista Home but it was horrible so I deleted it) - that 1click install messed up some things and I had to reinstall them (through yast or 1click installs) - so I guess I'll have to manually do it and I'm not fond of the idea I'll wait till I get to know this OS better or I might really mess things up and than I'll be f.....
