Okay, in defense of the person who called people fags for liking Avenged Sevenfold...they seriously make my stomach turn and ARE worthless people who make worthless music. I've met them, like right after they genre jumped because they realized people who liked metalcore hated them, primarily because they didn't know **** about the genre and just came off as being a part of metalcore just to be hip (it was becoming a popular thing at the time).

But, they are disgusting people. 'nuff said. Those that like them aren't fags, unless they actually are, and then that is cool also.

    1. Coil-seriously, if you're into the occult check them out. They've done everything from Harsh Industrial noise, to Drone, to Techno, to Ritual Ambient, and several things inbetween
    2. Boredoms- I don't listen to them much anymore, but I went to see them on 7/7/07 and they performed with 77 drummers. The setlist was oriented towards where the sun was in the sky...giving cues when it was time for the next song. They are japanese, and most of you would probably think their early stuff is rubbish (goofy sounding punk guitar, japanese guy screams in gibberish, cuts off to the sound of some toy) but their later stuff involves alot of nice beautiful drones and tribal drumming.
3.Nurse With Wound-I'm not saying anything but that I love Steven Stapleton.

    1. front 242...nothing like 80's darkwave. these guys have an extensive catalog and are making some of the best music still today

2.pink floyd -their concept albums and themes are amazing. Nick Mason's drumming has always been an inspiration. I love Syd's solo work.
    quintessential English charm.

    3. Jefferson Airplane - 2nd to the Dead in the San fransisco scene, the Airplane, and later, Starship, made awesome music all the way. 5 songs you must hear are running round this world, other side of this life, ballad of you and me and pooneil/house at pooneil corners, and Bear Melt
I have seen a thousand thousand civilizations rise and fall upon the Mother of All Things. As pipes play, echoing off the mountains and across the Ocean, until it fades at the edge of time, the end of All... - book of the gate called pan
