    Default 3am, wake up.

It seems I can trace back a common occurrence of waking up randomly at 3am for at least the past 7 years, off and on. Recently it has happened the past week, starting with the harvest moon up until this morning.

What amazes me is how effortless this awakening is to me. I go from dreaming one moment to full on awareness the next. It has gotten to the point where I no longer look at my clock anymore, as I know it is going to say something from 3:00am to 3:15am without fail. I wake up, sometimes I am especially drawn to looking out my window, other times I begin to perform tasks no different than I would if it were 3:00pm. I always seem to get tired after 7 to 15 minutes and fall back asleep without an issue.

This mornings occurrence was particularly interesting to me for two reasons. The first is that I awoke at 3:07am to the sound of wolves or coyotes howling in unison. I live in a fairly populated area but, I am surrounded by woods so I suppose this is not a stretch to have happened really. The interesting part to me is that it i am completely aware of the fact that hearing the howling did not wake me, i awoke so i could hear the howling.

The second reason is that I have a friend who is very much like me, in the sense of what he believes and strives for, and he awoke at 3:08am this morning fully aware that he had already begun climbing out of bed!

So, anyone familiar with these 3am waking experiences? I know it is a time of power as well as a time of physical weakness but, the fact that it has begun to happen with greater frequency is of great interest to me.

3am is the witching hour. I've certainly had my own uncanny experiences with it.

12:00 AM is The Witching Hour.

3:00 AM is The Demon Hour.

One would do well to remember this.

Well this morning it was 3:30am that I woke up. One of my cats was right along side of me.

If this is a demon then it doesn't seem to do much but wake me up. Nothing else of consequence ever seems to happen for as long as I have been waking up like this.

I wish I lived the type of life where I could go outside and take a long walk after waking up like this! Something tells me if I could just get up and go at that moment then I would find something I am looking for.
